There are no errors in the Qur'an

I don't find it anymore amusing than a dead body walking. Really, many of these verses are symbolical which people have taken to extremes and interpreted literally when the Holy Books are mostly spiritual books.

It's very easy to find a perfect rational and logical explanation for verses like this is we allow ourselves some latitude to look at these kinds of events as spiritual visions or dreams which have an inner meaning.
Make-believe is very helpful in interpreting dreary religious books, on that, I will agree.
One can almost make the Qur'an sound thoughtful if one massages the text just so.

There is only one Gospel (good news), related in four texts. Historically, Christians said 'the Gospel' where they now say 'four Gospels' indicating the physical texts.

Even many Muslims would admit that this is a pretty thin argument...
As far as I know there were more than hundreds of gospels among Christians in the first century of emergence of Christianity and church accepted four books

No. Gnostic gospels came later, which is why they were not chosen. They surfaced in the mid-late 2nd c.

Sheesh, the writers of the latter stories could have at least emailed their submissions... DUH!

The Quran needs to be read thoughtfully and in context as well as having a knowledge of the history behind the verses.

"Little knowledge is dangerous" applies here.

A proper education of the Quran would lead people to the realisation that the terrorists are disobeying their own Holy Book and that terrorism comes from their evil minds not Islam.

Dear Shad do you want to falsefy the facts and to refute them in this helpless machination? In fact your video betrayed you and those who did it. Trying to assassinate the character of Dr. Moore declare to me your defeat on your challenge regarding the Quran scientific facts.
When I said I'm a doctor that is only to tell you I studied embryology and found it as written in Quran before modern medicine which explored it in last 200 years but Quran preceded by 15 centuries. No human or Satan can do that.

Translation from Quran 9:32
Now. Islam is the fast growing religion in this world in spite of all these efforts of conspiracies against it. That is Allah promise in the above verse, who is more true other than Allah, the one. He begetteth not, nor is he begotten.

Never schemed at all. You seem to think anyone showing how double-faced Moore is out to scheme....

In fact your video betrayed you and those who did it. Trying to assassinate the character of Dr. Moore declare to me your defeat on your challenge regarding the Quran scientific facts.

No I pointed out in his own work he did not include the Islamic editions, published it for review nor continued to support his claims in academia.

When I said I'm a doctor that is only to tell you I studied embryology and found it as written in Quran before modern medicine which explored it in last 200 years but Quran preceded by 15 centuries. No human or Satan can do that.

First off I do not think you are doctor. Even if you were this is an argument from authority; something is true because an expert tells you it is.. Considering that secular education does not include your claims shows that such claims are only valued by Muslims and for religious purposes, nothing more. Even Moore's books reflects the secular position not your claim. As I said your own non-Muslim supporter declined to support his claims in academia. This speaks volumes especially when Moore omits the one edition of his book with a Muslim author's additions from his CV as if it doesn't exist.

Being in a holy book does not mean it is not man-made. You are simply ignoring exegesis you dislike while propping up your own exegesis as if it is different.

I believe the Quran is the Word of God. Others may think different. To me, the Word of God only tells the truth and is infallible.

You only believe that because you have been brainwashed since birth.

I was brought up as a Methodist (we did not attend the chapel very often) and I went to a Church of England primary school.

I was not indoctrinated at home and my mother used to say that religion has caused a lot of trouble in the world.

I have believed in God for most of my life because of what I was taught in primary school and the chapel.

This teaching was very mild compared to what Islamic children are taught, but this and the actions of other members of the community were sufficient to cause me to be a believer.

It is only in later life that I have managed to break free from these shackles.

If I had been brought up in an Islamic community, attended the mosque and an Islamic school, had to listen to an Imam and had to pray 5 times a day I would be in the same boat.

I feel sorry for Islamic youths and what they have to put up with, no wonder it affects their minds.

Thanks dear Shad, you confirmed my points. Anyhow the embryology as described in Quran does not need Dr Moore to talk about it for those who are looking to get the truth. Please read more about it.
Now!!! I give you another masterpiece From the Quran, the voice of truth and freedom
God says in Sorat El Zariyat, 51: verse 47 in Nobel Quran ( with power We Built the Firmament and we will be expanding)
Now a great lesson in astronomy. Modern science just recently discovered that the universe is expanding and this was described in Quran 15 centuries ago. No human or Satan can do this
Allah is Great ( We will show them our signs in the horizons and in themselves until they come to know it the truth) 41:54 Sorat Fussilat

Yes there is only ONE gospel, but there are four gospel accounts. My point is/was that the Quran confirms the gospel, just as they confirm the Torah and the Psalms. According to the Quran, Jesus gave the gospel. Is the Quran wrong?

CHRISTIAN
In reality though, the Muslim Jesus may as well be a completely different historical figure when compared to the Christian Jesus. The vast majority of Christians see Jesus as the son o' God, at the very least and a great many see him as God incarnate. Plus, I found the suggestion that Jesus spoke to the crowd, as an infant clutched in his mother's arms, speaking in a grown male's voice to be especially amusing. Such a profound event should have made it into Christian mythology, as it is not everyday that a baby talks like a man, let alone makes wild claims, but no... nary a word of this in the Christian mythology.
Which verse are you speaking of? I don't recall Jesus as ever speaking while a baby. He did speak when he was twelve years old. (Luke 2:41-52) Do you find speaking at 12 years old to be mythological?

The Qur'an states that the gospel was sent down to Jesus. So I suppose you could say, yes, the Qur'an is wrong. But in confirming the Torah and the Gospel, the Qur'an contradicts itself, since it matches not the Torah or Gospel.

And among them are unlettered ones who do not know the Scripture except in wishful thinking, but they are only assuming.2:78
So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah ," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.2:79
And they say, "Never will the Fire touch us, except for a few days." Say, "Have you taken a covenant with Allah ? For Allah will never break His covenant. Or do you say about Allah that which you do not know?"2:80
Yes, whoever earns evil and his sin has encompassed him - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.2:81
But they who believe and do righteous deeds - those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.2:82

It was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allaah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessing be upon him, said:

«No one spoke in the cradle but three (persons): ‘Eesa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary), the second one was the companion of Jurayj; the pious worshipper. Jurayj took a secluded hermitage for worship and confined himself in it. His mother came to him as he was busy in prayer, and she called, 'O Jurayj!' He said, 'O My Lord, my mother (is calling me) and (I am offering) my prayer (what shall I do)?.' He continued with the prayer. She returned and came the following day and he was (still) busy in prayer. She called, 'O Jurayj!' He said, 'My Lord, my mother (is calling me) and (I am offering) my prayer (what shall I do)?', and he continued with the prayer, and she returned. Then the next day she came again while he was busy in prayer, and called, 'O Jurayj!' He said, 'My Lord, my mother (is calling me) and (I am offering) my prayer (what shall I do)?' and he continued with the prayer. She said, 'O Allaah! Do not let him die until he sees the faces of prostitutes.'

The story of Jurayj and that of his meditation and prayer spread among the children of Israel. There was a prostitute who was beauty personified. She said (to the people), "If you like, I can lure him into evil." She presented herself to him but he paid no heed (to her). She came to a shepherd who lived near the hermitage and she offered herself to him. He (the shepherd) had sexual intercourse with her and she became pregnant. When she gave birth to a baby she said, 'This baby is from Jurayj.' So they came and asked Jurayj to leave and they demolished the hermitage and began to beat him. He asked them what was the matter. They said, 'You committed fornication with this prostitute and she gave birth to a baby from you.' He said, 'Where is the baby?' They brought him (the baby) and then he said, 'Just leave me so that I should perform prayer.'

He performed prayer and when he finished, he struck the baby’s stomach with his finger, and asked him, 'O boy, who is your father?' The baby answered, 'He is the shepherd. So, the people turned towards Jurayj, kissed him and touched him (seeking blessings), and said, 'We are ready to construct your hermitage with gold.' He said, 'No, just rebuild it with mud as it was,' and so they did.»

The Prophet, peace and blessing be upon him, continued:

«Then, there was a baby whose mother was suckling him when a person dressed in a fine garment came riding on a priceless animal. His mother said, 'O Allaah, make my child like this one.' He (the baby) left his mother’s breast, looked at the rider and said, 'O Allaah, Do not make me like him.' He then returned to the breast and resumed sucking.» He (i.e. Abu Hurairah) said, 'It is as though I can see the Messenger of Allaah, peace and blessing be upon him, illustrating the scene of his sucking milk with his forefinger in his mouth and sucking that.

The Prophet, peace and blessing be upon him, continued:

«It so happened that a slave girl passed by them who was being beaten and the people behind her were saying, 'You committed fornication and theft.' She was saying, 'Sufficient for me is Allaah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs', and his mother said, 'O Allaah, Do not make my child like her.' He left the breast, looked at her, and said, 'O Allaah! make me like her.' This was followed by a conversation between the mother and child. She said, 'A good-looking man happened to pass by, and I said: O Allaah, make my child like him, and you said: O Allaah, do not make me like him, and there passed a girl and the people were beating her, and saying: You committed fornication and theft, and I said: O Allaah, do not make my child like her, and you said: O Allaah, make me like her.' The infant said, 'That man was a tyrant, and I said: O Allaah, do not make me like him; and they were saying about the girl: 'You committed fornication', whereas in fact, she had not committed that and they were saying: 'You have committed theft, whereas she had not committed theft', so I said: O Allaah, make me like her» (1).

There are verses in our Quran about speaking in the cradle as a child. We have things in common. :)
So she pointed to him. They said, "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child?"19:29
[Jesus] said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah . He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.19:30
And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive 19:31
And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant.19:32
And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive."19:33
That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth about which they are in dispute.19:34
It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.19:35
[Jesus said], "And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path."19:36
Then the factions differed [concerning Jesus] from among them, so woe to those who disbelieved - from the scene of a tremendous Day.19:37
How [clearly] they will hear and see the Day they come to Us, but the wrongdoers today are in clear error.19:38
And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe.19:39
Indeed, it is We who will inherit the earth and whoever is on it, and to Us they will be returned.19:40

That's is my point, @katiemygirl ... it is not a tale that exists in the lore of Christianity and yet is something accepted in Islamic theology, from a source 500+ years after the supposed events. See Acim24's post #339 to demonstrate that I'm not making this up, LOL.
