There are no errors in the Qur'an

"He is created from a drop emitted- Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs" Qur'an 86:6-7

Hahahahaha, Qur'an doesn't know what testicles are for. Thinks sperm comes from between backbone and ribs :D

You see what's wrong when you just read Quran (especially in translation). :D
Since it's huge topic I won't go deep into debate, but you can check read more about that verse here.

Pssstttt, Wikiislam is on my side.

I told you this was in Zulqarnains perspective, it is what he saw it as.

Dhul Qarnayan was almost certainly Alexander the Great. You can never 'prove' this due to the uncertainties of historical enquiry, but the evidence is very, very persuasive. The '2 horns' are the horns of Amun which he was frequently depicted as having on coins etc. He was one of the greatest warriors in history and conquered the East and West, featured in the Jewish and Christian traditions, the 'Alexander legend' was popular at around the time of the revelation of the verses and is almost identical to the Quranic verses, he builds a 'wall' to restrain Gog and Magog, etc. Early tafsir (i.e ibn Abbas) also identified him as Dhul Qarnayan, and there is a hadith which talks about a town built by Dhul Qarnayan in Khurusan called Merv, this place also happened to be known as Alexandria.

I don't really like the term 'errors' when talking about religious scripture as they aren't books of facts or textbooks, but stories with spiritual meanings. The intense drive to create flawless and perfectly logically consistent readings is a more modern trend (for example, the contradictions in the Bible didn't bother those who complied it. It's not like they were unaware of them)

Alexander does present some theological 'issues' for more orthodox interpretations though...

O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass! Qur'an 55:33
MISCONCEPTION:

(O assembly of Jinn and men! If you are able to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass beyond (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)!) meaning: `you will never be able to escape Allah's orders and decrees, because it encompasses you. You will never be able to avoid or avert His rule and judgement over you, you are surrounded by it wherever you may be.' This is also about the Gathering when the angels, comprising seven lines in every direction, will surround the creatures. None of the creatures will be able to escape on that Day.

إِلاَّ بِسُلْطَـنٍ
(except with authority) meaning, except with the commandment from Allah

The Ayah means, `if you, mankind and the Jinns, try to escape on the Day of Resurrection, then the angels, including those among them who guard Hellfire, will bring you back by directing smoke of fire and molten brass on you.'

Sorry that doesn't justify the argument, it doesn't specify inside the plants, and beings there are both organs needed to procreate...The Quran is saying the plants, fruits, species themselves are all made in pairs.
YUSUFALI: “He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky.” With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others.

013.003
YUSUFALI: And it is He who spread out the earth, and set thereon mountains standing firm and (flowing) rivers: and fruit of every kind He made in pairs, two and two: He draweth the night as a veil o’er the Day. Behold, verily in these things there are signs for those who consider!

022.005
YUSUFALI: O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs).

049.013
YUSUFALI: O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

031.010
YUSUFALI: He created the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and He scattered through it beasts of all kinds. We send down rain from the sky, and produce on the earth every kind of noble creature, in pairs.

035.011
YUSUFALI: And Allah did create you from dust; then from a sperm-drop; then He made you in pairs. And no female conceives, or lays down (her load), but with His knowledge. Nor is a man long-lived granted length of days, nor is a part cut off from his life, but is in a Decree (ordained). All this is easy to Allah.

036.036
YUSUFALI: Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge.

043.012
YUSUFALI: That has created pairs in all things, and has made for you ships and cattle on which ye ride,

050.007
YUSUFALI: And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)-

051.049
YUSUFALI: And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction.

053.045
YUSUFALI: That He did create in pairs,- male and female

PICKTHAL: Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs.

078.008
YUSUFALI: And (have We not) created you in pairs

Not that you'll refute this either (just like how you skirted past the first inaccuracy I posted)

The Quran claims that one night, Allah took Muhammad to the "al-Aqsa" mosque is in Jerusalem:

"Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing." - Quran 17:1

The Muslim army conquered Jerusalem in 637 AD and the al-Aqsa mosque was completed in 705 AD. The problem with the above passage in the Quran is that Muhammad died in 632 AD, which was 5 years before the Muslim army reached Jerusalem and 73 years before the al-Aqsa mosque was built.

You go on Anti-Islamic hating websites and blabber some nonsense misconceptions.
That is an unfair accusation; simply on reading the Quran i noticed that straight away, as it repeats it so much, and know enough about Biology to see the claim is wrong.

Anyways that is only one point, haven't even expressed how many times it contradicts the Bible.... :innocent:

The plants have sexes.

They do have sexes.

Quran 20:92-95, claims that Moses confronted "Aaron" and a "Samaritan" for having made the golden calf for the Israelites while he (Moses) was on Mount Sinai:

"[Moses] said, "O Aaron, what prevented you, when you saw them going astray, from following me? Then have you disobeyed my order?" [Aaron] said, "O son of my mother, do not seize [me] by my beard or by my head. Indeed, I feared that you would say, 'You caused division among the Children of Israel, and you did not observe [or await] my word.'" [Moses] said, "And what is your case, O Samaritan?" - Quran 20:92-95

The Golden Calf incident near Mount Sinai mentioned in Quran 20:92-95 above took place in 1446 BC, which was 725 years before the first Samaritan was born in 721 BC.

So you admit there was no point in creating this thread, that you've already made your mind up and you're just trolling us to waste our time?
No, i am saying there are none.

I did make my mind.

However, there is no error in the Qur'an.

These are misconceptions and signs of ignorance on your part.

I'll admit there are no detectable errors in the Koran (as far as I can detect anyway).
That's a major problem.
Something which is not disprovable ranks up there with many unverifiable conspiracy theories & paranormal claims.
I've heard a similar argument for the Bible.
Moreover, it's an even more impressive rationale, ie, that despite its being translated, re-translated & re-written, the Bible is still not disprovable, & the message is the same.
This bespeaks divine origin to a much more impressive degree than the Koran's being uncorrupted & error free.
But I remain unimpressed by this one too.
