There are no mistakes in Quran

So Koran is not for average people, since average people probably will not understand this.
Quran is easy to understand, if one ponders on its verses along-with the context verses.
One may like to view my Post #195 where I have mentioned as to how one should read Quran to understand its meaning.

But he is called Issa in Koran not Jesus. Certainly it does not mean the same thing. There is no trinity in islam.Jesus definitely means trinity and this concept has nothing to do within islamic theories,so it remains meaningless .

Isa is Jesus in the Qur'an. The same Jesus, the same man. The difference is the belief in Jesus being God or part of the Trinity... not a different man.

No dear,in islam he is just another prophet, nothing more.

No he's not "just another prophet" in Islam. Muslims believe Jesus is already with God, while Muhammad is buried... Jesus is considered to be the Messiah in Islam.

What about 72 virgins?????

Not even going to answer this nonsense.

You need to step away from google. Like... now.

To properly read the Quran or the Bible, one should ingest mass quantities of powerful hallucinogens. That's about the only way you could make sense out of all that hocus pocus.

Your ridicule of the religion aside. Please paraphrase your argument, if you had any.

Jesus also died, according to Christians on the Cross.
Jesus ascended to heaven after his death like every prophet of G-d.
There are people in Kashmir India who say that they are from the progeny of Jesus/Isa, and he died and is buried in Roza Bal.

You laugh at people who believe in evolution, a concept well supported by mountains of evidence...while your explanation is that an invisble cosmic overlord made mud-puppets and then blew life into them like some omnipotent Geppetto.

It's laughable.

You may laugh even louder till you are bored from laughing without an occasion.
Please quote where did I laugh on evolution?

G-d created everything via evolution. G-d is not in a hurry, if he doesn't want it.

I want to add my thought into the discussion. Usually when the skeptics of Islam want to point errors and mistake in the quran, they always referred themselves to the sites like wiki islam and faith and freedom and many anti islam sites and quote their citations from these sites that often mislead people by misconstruing the texts of a verse to fit in the skeptics expectation level rather than doing their own study and research.

Few pages I read here, commented that Quran talks about the error of mountain roots and stability of mountain to the earths movement and the theory of geocentrism is also attributed to the quran as well as the two water in ocean don't mix. I'll refute them one by one. A lot of the skeptics took advantage of quran quotes on those topic quran mention due to the lack of sources and information available on the internet and muslims could not cite their reference online but due to the blessings of allah they have finally become available.

Records to mountains and its characteristics purpose to the earth is mention in enclyclopedia of britianna something that can't be edited unlike Wikipedia.

Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc."Istocacy is theoretical "balance" of all large portions of Earth’s lithosphere.as though they were floating on the denser underlying layer"

So here it says it controls earth's lithosphere, and where is that lithosphere? its the the rigid outer part of the earth, consisting of the crust and upper mantle.

"below the surface Isostasy controls the regional elevations of continents and ocean floors in ACCORDANCE with the densities of their underlying rocks (high mountains with low density deep roots)

"a mountain system, is due to a deficit of mass, or low-density roots, below sea level. Therefore, high mountains have low-density roots that extend deep into the underlying mantle In the theory" of isostasy, a mass above sea level is supported "below sea leve"l, and there is thus a certain depth at which the total weight per unit area is equal all around the Earth; this is known as the depth of compensationAccording to this hypothesis, mountains have roots below the surface that are much larger than their surface expression conclusion:so here we read the underlying mantle of high mountain has deep roots and the so this root from its LOW densities supports the earths outerpart of the earth which is crust and mantle. we call that asthenosphere. so quran rightly talks about mountain roots give balance and stability to earths litherphere. http://www.britannica.com/science/isostasy-geology

further info on britinacca Heiskanen hypothesis,
"hypothesis says that approximately two-thirds of the topography is "compensated" by the root formation (the Airy model) so here we again find that the high mountain underlying roots balance the lithosphere of earths weight. So if you have balls counter it" Lot of these info were not available on the internet so muslim couldn't answer with reference, here this info is coming from the enclyclopedia of britiannica.

Now we established that, regarding the water barriers, the word mix as the apologist use as an example to refute the quran as an error is not even mentioned in the verse, it talks about the forbidden ban meaning the characters of different body of water will not change or move into the other to change its properties. In scientific term we call it water stratification which creates barriers to water mixing or dead water.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stratification_(water)
"
Water stratification occurs when water masses with different properties - salinity (halocline), oxygenation (chemocline), density (pycnocline), temperature (thermocline) - form layers that act as barriers to water mixing which could lead to anoxia or euxinia."

Third is the allegation that quran talks about geocentrism doesn't even make sense when they quote the verse. All it says sun and moon have their own orbit and sun travels around a period determined till it comes to its stopping place and in cosmology we call it solar apex.

The Quran claims that mountains stop earthquakes, which is not true.

Do I really need to look up sources to prove the sun doesn't revolve around the earth?

Thank you for this, I was going to address each of the writer's "points" but just couldn't be bothered this time around. A small point though is that if we take the idea that mountains acts as pegs to still the rumbling earth it inevitably lends credence to the idea of a flat earth. The idea of pegs would certainly make sense to people of the Arabian peninsula who have ever setup a camp. The more elaborate ideas presented above about isostacy as just hogwash and is a feeble attempt to fit a modern idea into a fairly vague line or two from the Qu'ran.

And some of us skeptics have read more than one translation of the Quran, cover to horribly outdated cover.
