There is a proof that Jesus spoke (defend) to Mary when he was just born !

In the past the Jews were a tradition (a law) when they juged a woman as a Prostitute they killed her the fire (they put her in the fire alive as punishement for the sin of Prostitute) .... why the jews did not put Marry in the fire ???!!! because Jesus (PBUH) spoke to them inspite he was just born and defend for his mother lol ( his first miracle)

God told us in The Holy Quran that Jesus (PBUH) spoke to his people and defend for his mother when he was just born :

19 Maryam 25-33 :
"(26) Then she brought him to her own folk, carrying him. They said: O Mary! Thou hast come with an amazing thing. (27) O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy mother a harlot. (28)Then she pointed to him. They said: How can we talk to one who is in the cradle, a young boy? (29) He spake: Lo! I am the slave of Allah. He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a Prophet, (30) And hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as I remain alive, (31) And (hath made me) dutiful toward her who bore me, and hath not made me arrogant, unblest. (32) Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive! (33)"

My question is why the authors (the editors of the Bible) of the New testement ignore this great miracle ?

This is 'proof', insofar as quoting Harry Potter is 'proof' that Snape killed Dumbledore. 'This book says so' is in no way a compelling proof. Furthermore, Joseph and Mary were married by the time that Jesus was born, according to Biblical storylines. Therefore, the birth would not have been suspicious, as everyone would have merely assumed that Joseph was the father.

Two other possibilities immediately come to mind:

- they didn't think she was a prostitute.
- the event didn't actually happen.

God told us in The Holy Quran that Jesus (PBUH) spoke to his people and defend for his mother when he was just born :

19 Maryam 25-33 :

It certainly sounds like the sort of thing that the authors of the Bible would have wanted to include if they had known about it. It seems to me that there are a few possible explanations:

- even though the event happened, the authors of the Bible didn't include it because they didn't know about it (but the author(s) of the Quran did know about it somehow)
- the authors of the Bible originally did include it, but then it was removed for some reason
- the author of the Bible didn't include it because it didn't happen (and the Quran is incorrect)

IMO, Occam's Razor suggests the third possibility: it doesn't demand any supernatural expanations at all. However, if we allow for supernatural possibilities, we don't have any reason to exclude any of the possibilities.

Maybe for the same reason that other apocryphal stories of Jesus' childhood were ignored...
Sounds more like the proof was in the bottle... Make mine a double!

Blasphemy! Harry Potter says Snape killed Dumbledore, and since Harry Potter is the word of the Holy Phoenix, whoever believes otherwise has nothing but mere conjecture to follow. ;)

Why doubt the apocryphal stories though and not doubt the NT? The NT was chosen by a group of men as being accurate, and there's no evidence it's anymore accurate.

Jews at that time had to live under the laws of the occupying Romans, so no they could not do any such thing, even if there was such a law.

I respect you opinion but .
the New testement told us that the Jews tried to killed Jesus ...in this case i can tell you that its maybe they tried to killed Mary also ... as we know the romans praied the stones (idols ) and you were their enemies (in religion) (as occupation mode ) I guess they hope that you killed eath other ???

haha, it's not "lol", it's Lo, equivalent of "O", like "O you sinners" or "Lo, you sinners!" Shakespeare uses it many times.

...and since Romans wrote the NT, of course it would say that... 'THE JEWS did this and THE JEWS did that' ...

accuatly Jesus was jewish and God sent him to the jews ...some few believed in him and some did not ... who did not believe in him, they were not his friends no ???

Godobeyer, you fail to realize the responses to your original point.

Mary was already months into her marriage when Jesus was born, hence there would have been no suspicion of adultery, and therefore no reason for her to be killed and for Jesus to 'save' her by speaking.

Maybe you should re-read the Gospels more carefully. The Sanhedrin decided that Jesus should be put to death, but they couldn't carry out the sentence themselves; instead, they had to go to the Roman governor and get his approval. Presumably, if Pilate had said "no", Jesus wouldn't have been executed; the same would hold true for anyone else sentenced to death by the Jewish authorities: the Roman authorities could veto the decision.

Zardoz's point is a good one. If things worked in ancient Judea the way the Gospels describe, then even if some Rabbinic court decided that Mary should be put to death, it wouldn't have happened if the Roman authorities had refused the request.
