In the right setting, it's the closest thing to getting proof. To find out things, various governments use studies, professionals of all walks use studies, scientist use studies.

What do you think people should use to understand things better?

So don't talk about proof or say other things you dont mean and/ or cannot be true.

Decisions based on specific goals and concrete data
may or may not get the intended results, nor are the results necessarily " good".

" Studies" objective and thorough in nature are of course
better than just doing things.

Facile reliance on questionable data, coloured by
whatever agenda and bias is worse than useless.

Studies that say immigration is " good" is a prime exanole
