Things I Do Not Understand

I bought a new bedside clock yesterday. They had one that was just a clock for $45 or one that is a clock and wireless charger for $19.

So being a cheapskate I got the $19 one then last night I was lying there thinking I got something 12 inches from my head shooting out electricity.

No, the field is only a few millimetres. Don't worry.

I don't understand why folks are so quick to holler "Fake News" at something they do not agree with, or don't want to agree with...without doing to research to see if it fake or not...

I consider most news to be fake to an extent.

Articles are often clouded with emotions(those sell). Even if someone is particularly stoic, how they tell an event, and whether its good or bad, or even what words they think are worth quoting is going to depend on the culture they're from.

If I'm going to take any news at all, its local.

I don't understand why people can't put their shopping trolley in the trolley bay. It should be policed! With all the CCTV cameras it should be an easy task.

1st offence... a hefty fine and a swift kick up the backside.
2nd offence... 100 lashes from a cat of nine tails.
3rd offence... hanging.

I remember a store we used to go to called Gemco, and they had a "return-a-cart" club. Customers could gather carts from around the parking lot and return them to the store entrance, and they tally up the number of carts on a punch card. It seemed it was geared towards kids, as I think they offered some kind of prizes. I don't remember what the prizes were. The "return-a-cart" club didn't last very long either. Neither did Gemco.
