My first guess is that the post is old enough for the photo to have been purged from the server.
Or that there was a software change and photos were not transferred
or that the system only holds photos for X amount of time and it expired.

I have a kiddie pool in the backyard.

When the kids are done swimming, they bring most of it in with them, and then its in the living room.
