Things That Annoy You

Being a budding linguistic architect, I will often toss the word "Irregardless" into a sentence to spice things up. It always amuses me when people attempt to correct me because I am likely far more familiar with the flexibility of language than the person seeking to correct me. The thicker dullards actually have the temerity to argue the point. What it takes them awhile to digest is that I am always using it in a factious sense mocking peoples lack of verbal dexterity.

If you keep up using "irregardless", it might eventually become a perfectly cromulent word.
(Just look at how "methodology" has replaced "method".)
This would be your fault!

As a man I can't stand it when I go to the bathroom to take a leak, get done and give it several shakes, wipe, tuck it back in my pants and then some more dribbles out, soaking my boxers, pants and leg...sigh. What the hell?!

Guess that comes with age.
Maybe a prostate problem.

I hate it when people put the accent on the 2nd syllable of "integral".
But not so "syllable" because it sounds humorous.

Academy Award acceptance speeches annoy me.
And this time there will be extra politics.
Ew.
So I'll be skipping the show.
But I'm sure Negal will annoy me tonite....."annoy" is too mild a word....hatred of him just drips off'n me gizzle!

Sellers who use 'helpers' on eBay annoy me.

A helper is someone a seller uses to insure that her things do not sell for pitiful amounts (like mine do).

Only the seller and the helper know what they are doing. The rest of us have to go on the hunch that is what they are doing.

For instance, a button sells for $24.00 at auction with only two bidders (one is a possible helper). A few days later the same exact button sells for $8.00 at auction with three bidders (but no helper).

I know people do it, because I have been asked to do it. Someone offered to do it for me and someone else I know was asked if she was going to employ a helper.

It is cheating, so of course, with God watching me, I don't do it.
I think I shouldn't even do if God is not knowing. LOL

A helper is someone who bids an item up even though he does not want the thing. That means that someone who wants it will pay more for it than it is presently worth. It is cheating. The helper does not buy it.

Regularly, (it seems daily, but is probably more like a few times a week) I have been noticing when I connect to the internet, there is at least one new story on my homepage about someone apologizing for saying something.

I wonder how such silly stuff as who said the wrong thing and caused an outcry...and is being pressured to apologize...has become such a regular topic for stories.

If news stories followed the newspaper format, Public Apologies would be its own section.

(It's not an apology that annoys me, it is the frequency of focus upon it.)

And people who should apologize don't
