That's not what I've seen in the news about the current curfews in US cities. Our governor told us masks aren't enforceable by law. Maybe curfews will get a slap on the risk and sit in the corner.

A lot of places have curfews due to the riots over the police killing George Floyd right now, not because of COVID-19.That's not what I've seen in the news about the current curfews in US cities.
But people do get attacked by law enforcement for being outside during curfews.About the masks? He (VA) said in the last updated conference (response to a reporter's question) that he doesn't see the reason for law enforcement to fine people who decide not to wear masks. It's not a legal issue for citizens. Businesses who do not adhere to the law can be fined.

Perhaps if the police were using the curfew as a secondary means by which to break up a protest--to go after people not actively protesting. Otherwise, if a police officer attacked anyone simply for being out during a curfew, that officer would most likely find themselves out of a job and facing charges. But people do get attacked by law enforcement for being outside during curfews.
There is no reason to use the conjunctive form, this actually happened and was recorded.Perhaps if the police were using the curfew as a secondary means by which to break up a protest--to go after people not actively protesting. I was intending it to mean going out in public/among other people - if you want, you can assume that doctors/police/government/clergy would think of your garden as an extension of your home.
When would you accept a command to stay in your own home, and to not go outside (except in cases of serious emergency)?
Which of these figures would you trust?
1. A renowned doctor or medical expert tells you that it's not healthy to stay outside. They say that you need to stay inside your home in order to avoid becoming ill, or to spread illness to others.
2. Your country's political leader tells you that in order to serve your country, you need to stay inside. They remind you that all good patriots have accepted that necessity and agreed on it.
3. Your religious community leader tells you that it is God's will for you to stay at home and not go outside. They are calling on your faith, and tell you to trust in God and obey this command.
4. The police tells you that for law and order to be preserved, you need to stay in your home at all times. They say that it is illegal to go outside, and it would have serious consequences if you choose to disobey them.
How would you react?
