The “sea” is a good metaphor because it is an unstable and dangerous place. In contrast, the “land” of Revelation represents the people of God. The “beast” of Revelation 13:2 comes out of the “sea,” meaning that this beast comes from the world.

I believe if one has two nations the plural applies. If it said al the nations it would be different. The ten horns suggests that there are ten nations one for each horn. So in my opinion that doesn't qualify as the United Nations or the European Union since that is around 14 the last time I counted. Whoops Wikipedia says 28. I am behind the times, lol.

I enjoyed his book but I believe he was wrong about a lot of things. It did help me to contemplate and meditate on the book of Rev., though. I am an iconoclast so for me it is always what the word actually says.

The tribulation was over in 70 AD just as it was told in Revelation.. Jesus told them to flee to the mountains to avoid the tribulation which was local.. and they did.. They left and went to Pella. Your doctrine comes from Darby and Cyrus Scofield.

The Whore of Babylon is Israel... NOT Jezebel. Israel was prosperous unlike Judah and the Jews from Jerusalem considered them Hellenized and apostate.
