To perform the prayers of Zuhr(noon) and Asr(afternoon), Maghrib(evening) and Isha(night) together

«بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم»
We know that Sunnis believe that performing noon and afternoon prayers at one time, and Evening and night prayers together is wrong and invalid.

They say:
We must perform each prayer in its own time and separate the time of noon and afternoon prayers and also put a distance between prayers of evening and night.

But according to Shi'its belief, it is possible to perform two daily prayers (noon and afternoon, evening and night) in a row without being in an emergency situation.

Here is Sahih Hadiths which are in Sunni autnentic books that confirms Shia view.

1. Sahih Muslim

Muslim has narrated traditions from ibn Abbas(r.a.) through different routes of the narrators that,

The Messenger of Allah (S) observed the noon and afternoon prayers together, and the Maqrib and Isha' prayers together without being in a state of fear or in a state of journey.
Abu Zubair said: I asked Sa'id [one of the narrators] why he did that. He said: I asked Ibn 'Abbas as you have asked me, and he replied that he [the Holy Prophet] wanted that no one among his Ummah should be put to [unnecessary] hardship.

Ibn 'Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (S) combined the noon prayer with the afternoon prayer, and the Maqrib prayer with the 'Isha' prayer in Medina without being in a state of danger or rainfall.
And in the hadith transmitted by Waki' (the words are): " I said to Ibn 'Abbas: What prompted him to do that? He said: So that his (Prophet's) Ummah should not be put to (unnecessary) hardship." And in the hadith transmitted by Mu'awiya (the words are):" It was said to Ibn 'Abbas: What did he intend thereby? He said he wanted that his Ummah should not be put to unnecessary hardship."

'Abdullah b. Shaqiq al-'Uqaili reported:
A person said to Ibn 'Abbas (as he delayed the prayer): 'Prayer!'. He kept silence. He again said: 'Prayer!'. He again kept silence, and he again cried: 'Prayer!'. He again kept silence and then said: 'May you be deprived of your mother, do you teach us about prayer? We used to combine two prayers during the life of the Messenger of Allah (S).'
(Source, Arabic, English)
This narration clearly shows that Ibn Abbas had done his two Salats in a row without being in an emergency situation. So, when the man saw that he do not say the second Salat, became surprized and then mentioned him the second Salat. But Ibn Abbas said him that, based on the practic of Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him and his pure progeny), he has said his prayer with the first one in a row.

There are other routes of the narrators for the tradition. But these 3 Hadiths are sufficient.

2. Sahih Al-Bukhari

"The Prophet (S) prayed eight Rak`ats for the Zuhr( 4 Rak'ats ) and `Asr( 4 Rak'ats ), and seven for the Maghrib( 3 Rak'ats ) and `Isha( 4 Rak'ats ) prayers in Medina."
[The continue of the narration is only a guess, as itself shows( Perhaps.... May be ), and indeed is not correct. Because the 2th narration in the part of Sahih Muslim narrations rejects it.(فِي غَيْرِ خَوْفٍ وَلاَ مَطَرٍ: without being in a state of danger or rainfall)]
Aiyub said, "Perhaps those were rainy nights." Anas said, "May be."

Conclution
1.Prophet Muhammad(sawaws) used to do Salat Zohr with Asr, and Salat Maqrib with Asha' in a row without being in an emergency situation( i.e., journey, fearing, danger, rainfall, etc. ).
2.Those Sahih and authentic narrations confirm the Shia view which is based on the true Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him and his pure Ahlul Bayt) which has been reached to us by our Imams of Ahlul Bayt(peace be upon them),i.e., the true Successors of the Messenger of Allah(sawaws).

but i want to know which one is better?
combine the prayers or doing them in own times and separately?
and whats the reason for preferring one over another one?
thanks again and your reward with Allah.

I strongly advise u not to use our books. Because if u want to use it, use all, and not some parts!
Would u like me to use Al-Kafi against your shiasm?
I can do that. I can bring hadiths that speak out against imamat, that praises abu bakr and umar radiyallah anhum.

Combining prayers for no reason is not allowed from sunni perspective. But if someone wants to combine prayers because of starting work early then thats allowed. What shias are doing is wrong, they combine salaat for no reason, the workers and non-workers.

Allah swt said salaat are on the fixed times.

Sahih International: And when you have completed the prayer, remember Allah standing, sitting, or [lying] on your sides. But when you become secure, re-establish [regular] prayer. Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times.

Saying prayers at their Fadhilat times are better. But anyway, Muslims are free to choose between saying prayers in a row or seprately.

Those Sahih and authentic Hadiths strongly prove Shia view. Or you can claim that Ibn Abbas(r.a.) was liar!!! What can not be accepted by both you and me.

Would u like me to use Al-Kafi against your shiasm?
I can do that. I can bring hadiths that speak out against imamat, that praises abu bakr and umar radiyallah anhum.
If you can bring for me a Sahih Hadith- note, a Sahih Hadith, not a weak or fake one- againts Imamat which praises Abu Bakr and Umar in Shi'i books, go ahead. Also, you should prove that in it is praising of them. Finally, if there were a Sahih one in which there were praising of them, you then should prove that the saying of Hadith was not in the Taqiyah situation. I am absolutely sure that you never can do all these steps.

Anyway, do not discuss here and make another thread, please.

Combining prayers for no reason is not allowed from sunni perspective. But if someone wants to combine prayers because of starting work early then thats allowed. What shias are doing is wrong, they combine salaat for no reason, the workers and non-workers.
According to the Hadith which I have narrated from Sahih Muslim, Ibn Abbas combined his two Salats for no reason. So a man, just like you, complained from Ibn Abbas three times and said to him that he must say his prayer in its specific time. Finally, Ibn Abbas(r.a.) said to him, 'May you be deprived of your mother, do you teach us about prayer? We used to combine two prayers during the life of the Messenger of Allah (S).'
Allah(swt) said Salats are on the specific times, but He(swt) has also almost always talked about 3 times for Salats. Which proves the combining of Salat of Zohr with Asr, and Salat Maqrib with Asha. Because, if you combine tow Salats, the number of times which you should do Salat would be 3 times, that is, 1.Salat Fajr, 2.Salat of Zohr and Asr in combining form( saying them in a row ), 3, Salat Maqrib and Isha in combining form.
So, Holy Quran strongly proves Shia view.

11:114
Maintain the prayer at the two ends of the day, and during the early hours of the night. Indeed good deeds efface misdeeds. That is an admonition for the mindful.

Shias will always claim some of our books, thats why i dislike their ideology of cursing sahaba and ahlulbayt.

They say Bukhari was a liar bakri nasibi but still uses some of his collection Subhanallah.

Peace be upon you brother.

I think, instead of saying of unscientific things, see the truths.

We love good ones between Sahaba so much. We love Ammar, Abu Zarr, Miqdad, Salman Al-Farsi, Bilal, Huzayfatibni Yaman, and so on(May Allah take my soul in service for their causes).
The following link is the prayer of our 4th infallible Imam, i.e., Imam Sajjad, Zeynul 'Abideen(a.s.) for good ones of Sahaba, http://www.religiousforums.com/threads/dua-of-imam-sajjad-for-sahaba-tabiin.179638/.

And about Ahlul Bayt(peace be upon them). We believe they are infallible and they are the true Successors of Prophet(sawaws) after him(sawaws). We believe that we must follow them.

We use Sahih Al-Bukhari in our discussion with our Sunni brothers. Indeed, we use your authentic sources, when we want to prove an issue for you.

May Allah bless you and your family.

When a Shia wants to prove something for a Sunni then he/she must use a Sunni source!
And of course, I as a Shia sometimes use top Hadiths of Bukhari, Muslim and Abu Dawood. They had some problems in narrations however, it doesnt mean that their sayings are all wrong! Bukhari, Muslim and Abu Dawood are among our Iranian ancestors before conversion to Shia.
Prophet(pbuh): Iranians will seek for knowledge even if it's in another planet.

Insulting wives of prophet(pbuh)?!!!!
We do respect wives of prophet(pbuh) and insulting them is Haram by the testimony of most top Shia scholars including Ayat-Allah Khameneie. However, facts MUST be discussed. Must! If talking about what Aisha did with prophet(pbuh), with Fatima(the chief of heaven's females), with Hasan and Husein(the chief of Heaven's youth), with Ali(the successor of prophet and the door of knowledge) and with Ummah is regarded as "insult" by you, then so be it!

She was the one who insulted Muhammad(pbuh), according to your own books!
She was the one who didnt let Hasan be buried with prophet(pbuh), saying "do not bury the one whom I hate in my house", according to your own books! Soldiers shooted tens of arrows to Hasan's dead body!
She was the one who used to insult the companions!, according to your own books!
and and and......

And why should respect all the companions while them themselves use to fight, insult, hate, swear at, deport each other?
We respect only the "true companions"!!! You can respect all the people who had the chance of seeing prophet(pbuh), calling them , "the companions!"

By the way, we havent reached to another planet, soon we will do it! First we should send an animal to space, it's in our plans! Soon insha'allah!

We take no religion from curses and selfbeaters. Thats the truth.

Hadith is 100% about ancient Iranians when they were well estabilished upon haqq.
Bukhari rahimullah was Iranian and many other great scholars.

Now the reality is that 90% of Iranians are taught how to curse sahaba and mothers of believers.

Salaams to all.
The following Sermon is for the Shias.
Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 126

Ali says:“With regard to me, two categories of people will be ruined, namely he who loves me too much and the love takes him away from rightfulness, and he who hates me too much and the hatred takes him away from rightfulness. The best man with regard to me is he who is on the middle course. So be with him and be with the great majority of Muslims because Allah’s hand of protection is on keeping unity. You should beware of division because the one isolated from the group is a prey to Satan just as the one isolated from the flock of sheep is a prey to the wolf. Beware! Whoever calls to this course [of sectarianism], kill him, even though he may be under this headband of mine.”

The above is the best advice given to the Shias by Hadrat Ali RA.
We the ahle sunnat wa Jamaat do not hate Hadrat Ali RA.We respect him in the same as we respect the other Companions of Rasoolallah SAW.
We aiways take the middle road and avoid extremism and we are the great majority.
We sincerely ask the Shias to stop cursing the Sahabas and join our flock.
As for the OP i will express my views later to prove how Shias have been misquided by using our Hadith books without understanding our beliefs.
Believe me its very easy to lose the path by using our hadith books without knowledge of our deen.
salaams.

Salaams to all.
As a member of the Ahle sunnat wa Jamaat i think its appropriate for me to set the record straight.
The Shias who have absolute no knowledge of our deen hence their criticism is nothing more than ignorancy.
Let me explain how our deen works.
"O you who believe! obey Allah and obey the Messenger"
Follow whats in the Noble Quraan and you will be obeying Allah.
Follow the Sunaths and you will be obeying the Messenger.
Upon the death of Nabi SAW the deen was complete and the Noble Quraan was made available in written form to
keep us in guidance. The Sahabas were the followers of the Sunnaths of Nabi SAW and upon their demise their children
continued in the footsteps of following the sunnaths. In as early as the first century then came the four Madhabs who put these Sunnaths in writing.
The Madahabs took their teachings direct from Sahabas, the children of Sahabas, the Tabi'un,the family of Nabi SAW and the first generation of Muslims.
Today after more than 1400years we have the Noble Quraan and the Sunnaths intact and they are sufficient for our complete deen.
So far as the Madhabs are concerned we don't even question their verdicts because their teachings came from the Sunnaths.Hence we call our selves
the Ahle sunnat wa Jamaat.
Note books of Hadith was only written a few hundered years after the Madhabs. Now the source of our knowledge comes from 3 sources.
Noble Quraan.....Sunnaths(Madhabs).....books of hadiths. Now this is the order of rank regarding our source of knowledge hence hadiths cannot take superiority over Noble Quraan or Sunnaths. Now if any hadith contradict the Noble Quraan then its not valid.
Now lets look at what the Noble Quraan states regarding the OP.
"Verily Salaat is fixed upon the believers at fixed hours."
The noble Quraan is very clear.
Lets look at the Madhab.
"one may not combine any 2 Salaats, whether one is on a journey or even in a hurry."
So the Sunnaths confirm it as well.

Now lets look at the book of hadith.

The Shias are using our hadiths for a short cut in their deen hence they picking and choosing hadiths that fulfill their hearts desire(short cut deen).
My point is why not look at hadiths that complies with Noble Quraan and not those that contradict it.
There are many hadiths that i can give you but for the sake of Shias i am going to give you just one by Hadrat Ali RA.
Sayyiduna Umar ibn Ali RA, the son of Sayyiduna Ali RA reports that it was the practice of Sayyiduna Ali ibn Abi-Talib RA that whenever he was on journey, he would continue moving until just before it became dark, i.e. just before the time of Maghrib finished. He would at this time perform his Maghrib Salaat. Then he would partake of meals and after that he would perform the Esha Salaat. Sayyiduna Ali RA would also mention that this was how Rasulullah SAW would do. (Sunan Abu Dawud)

No. In fact the reality is that you live in propoganda!
Not even 0.00000000000001 percentage of iranians insult mother of belivers let alone 90. It is Haram to insult them.

By the way, how dear you talking about Haqq. Isnt it still iranians who are supporting Haqq. Isnt it iranians who support sunni Palistinians against those infant killer Zionists. we are suffering under cruel sanctions just bacause we are supporting Haqq. Do you think it is hard for us to shake hand with Israel!?! Just like what Arab kings did! Is Haqq only to say preyers five times and say how great companions were!
7000 muslims were killed in Hajj, where are those who claim to be with Haqq?
Where are sunnis when we burn israels flag and send blood to sunnis in palistain?! Huh! Haqq!

Brother, Sunnah of NAbi ,pbuh, must be obtained from trustable people and his successors, NOT from any of the companions, Tabein and their children.
we are getting sunnah of prophet, pbuh, from those who unanimously approved and confirmed eachothers, the 12successrs of Nabi, pbuh.
You get Sunnah from those who use to fight, kill, insult, deport and reject eachothers! Thus, not all.parts.of.your Sunnah could be trustable. It is a modification of Nabi's,pbuh, Sunnah. Mut'a for example, was the Sunnah of.prophet, pbuh, however, canceled by Umar.
Dont you wanna think?

Those four madhabs which you are reffering to were managed with four scholars who used to reject and insult eachother. You have no proof that you had to follow them. Prophet, pbuh, never said that we should follow Imam Malek, SHafei, Hanifa or he,pbuh, said that we should follow 12 successors.

Brother, I add the following to your saying that
we as Shia, also obtain the Sunnah of Prophet(pbuh&hpp) from authentic Hadiths which are narrated from reliable Sahaba.

Your saying could wrongly imply that we do not accept the Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh&hpp) which were narrated from reliable one of Sahaba(Radhiyallahu Anhum) at all.

Thanks.
