To theists, how do view an afterlife in comparison to this life?

Get me off of this planet
I do see this life as a lesson but not one with follies I can't repeat in the next one. Even though with the prudence of my conscience I made such gullible follies such as lust. Lust is the only short coming of my immediate existence I trouble over and I am told to, "Get over it..."... I have been extremely slutty and it does shame me from time to time in the immediate. That is something that will stay with me, given a glance as my former reserve, Given what I had learned in mind it is all to humiliating - but minuscule ultimately, still it will haunt me.

I am fortunate still. If the only thing you resent is your sex life, hell, you'll get over it, hopefully.

Perhaps it was meant to be?

I think God is a liberal who allows multiple possible outcomes for after death. Rebirth for Buddhists, Reincarnation for Hindus, Heaven and Hell for Christians and Muslims, nothing at all for atheists, etc etc. Sending a Christian to a Buddhist heaven would be hell for them, Christian heaven would not be welcomed perhaps by a Muslim, etc. Atheists don't want an afterlife so why should they have one etc etc.

Hello, and thanks for your thoughts to this topic.
Do you believe lust is inherently 'sinful?' Is that why you feel some sense of guilt over your 'lustful' ways?

Life is awesome. And if one feels it isn't they may be dealing with depression.

I like living, and breathing, eating, napping, playing, singing, relationships, etc. I'm looking forward to eternal life, that is, doing more of what I enjoy now with less clutter and without sin.

If you can read this, you are as lucky as I am.
Atheists don't want an afterlife so why should they have one etc etc.

If I thought having an afterlife was a possibility, and I could get the one I wanted, I'd definitely be down for it! :)

The problem, of course, is the difference between what you want and what you earn.

I was hoping for an endless movie marathon and a tub of infinite popcorn in a celestial theatre with no cellphones.

Surely I've at least earned that?

The endless movie marathon is your past life review. No cellphones of course because there is nothing to interrupt your review. But perhaps you can have all the popcorn you want.
