Trends in Porn Viewing

But, but, but then how can you enjoy porn for how comically bad it is?:p

I cannot stand the sounds of women screaming of rejoice when they are henceforth pleasured or dominated. Which is why I mute or add in music to make it more fun and enjoyable without the sounds.

I would imagine a huge, huge chunk of the viewing are men watching long enough to have some masturbation material, ending up watching the first few minutes of a video, and don't watch the other 20 or so minutes.

I tend to be one of those types who just only watches the videos for a few minutes or so till I am done pleasuring myself. At times I wouldn't even watch a video that is super long so instead I just skip through a few scenes till I find a good scene that I like. You have a very good point by the way.

I don't think it has anything to do with religion, really. We're just a sexual species. Porn has likely existed since we started depicting things.

All species are sexual. However, not all species enjoy watching other members of their species have sex. I myself am not particularly interested in watching others go at it. If I do watch porn, it's usually just videos of hot women stripping or addressing the viewer rather than actually having sex with another person. I also kinda like videos where the woman is trying to verbally humiliate the viewer for some reason.

Well, then again Utah views more porn than any other state, and it is largely a Mormon state, and they keep trying to ban it only to find out people are going to such ridiculous lengths as checking into hotel rooms to watch it, and Utah citizens are watching it more than the citizens of other states. Religion is not the only issue, but when you shame sex, make it dirty, and try to control it, it does add incentive to use more discreet methods, such as online pornography.
Let's examine this a bit more closely. When you say that "Utah views more porn than any other state," I hope you know that you are talking about online porn. More online porn is viewed in Utah than in other states because it is the only way porn can be viewed in Utah. In other words, it's not available through retail outlets, as is the case most places. Figures on how much porn is purchased through retail outlets in other states is not available, so the stats are definitely skewed. It's virtually impossible to say to what extent.

I considerably cut down sugar and porn, alcohol once every other month and caloric restriction. Throw in cardio, weights, work and school and it's the life of a Spartan.

I get high on making myself mentally and physically stronger. Discipline is a rush, porn is a crutch. Adopt a disciplined lifestyle and you won't need virtual people to get you off ;), the real deal will become the norm.

If people are having sex, regardless of if it's highly satisfactory or disafactory, is no indication or anything on if they will have impulses or desires to watch porn. Sometimes even couples watch it together.

I agree it's best to avoid porn. I have read that some people become "addicted" to it in some sense, which can apparently be very detrimental. I typically look at it when bored, but often easily go spans of 3-6 months without it..

Why would anyone buy porn when it can easily be downloaded for free?

I've heard the same about food, and video games, and shopping, and gambling, and the internet, and plastic surgery, and dieting, and hoarding, and . . . . . . . . . . . .which can also be very detrimental.

I tend to view Porn when I am bored as well, occasionally I usually don't get to addicted to it. But at times I feel the need to view it more than once so often.
