Trump 2024

"The total lack of action from virtually all of the '2024 GOP hopefuls' is pretty amazing," tweeted Donald Trump Jr., the President's eldest son, on Thursday. "They have a perfect platform to show that they're willing & able to fight but they will cower to the media mob instead. Don't worry @realDonaldTrump will fight & they can watch as usual!"

Analysis: How Donald Trump is *already* laying the groundwork for 2024 - CNNPolitics

Think the GOP will drag Trump out for a second round?

I was kind of just trolling the left, but it seems the idea is being floated by the media.

Trump needs to give Republicans a reason to continue to support him so he doesn't get thrown in jail. This might give them both the promise of power and the threat of losing their seats if they "betray" the cult leader.

It may also be the first stage in the grieving process: denial.

Either way, it's bad we already have to discuss the 2024 Presidential elections rather than give the people and democracy a chance to digest what has happened over these past four years.

I doubt he's win the GOP's nomination.
In the election he did worse than the rest of the party - why not choose someone else, rather than a loser?

I suspect our political discussion will be up to the media. Whether they keep Trump in the news or they let him fade away.

Inmates in the Federal Penitentiary can't run for President.
If only that were true:

Lyndon LaRouche - Wikipedia

" He ran for president again in 1992 with James Bevel as his running mate, a civil rights activist who had represented the LaRouche movement in its pursuit of the Franklin child prostitution ring allegations. It was only the second-ever campaign for president from prison."

Perhaps Trump's could br the third such campaign.

One more similarity to Trump from the same article:

'According to Bakker, LaRouche received a daily intelligence report by mail, and at times had information about news events days before they happened. Bakker also wrote that LaRouche believed their cell was bugged. In Bakker's view, "to say LaRouche was a little paranoid would be like saying that the Titanic had a little leak." '

I don't know why people think he might go to jail. They couldn't even remove him from office, they sure as hell won't be bringing charges against him, and for what? Bush got us into illegal wars and libs all of a sudden like him. He's not in prison, so why would Trump be?

You can never know what tomorrow will bring. For all I know I can die right now, and so can Trump. Let alone predict the situation 4 years later. He should stop making big promises he can't keep up in the face of unbeatable opposition as mother nature herself. Humans are fickle, and they are dictated by nature. He should humble himself, pray and hope that future will bring goodness to himself and others, and hopefully he will run again if mother nature shows enough mercy to him.

In short --- Don't be an arrogant smug.

Historically, including nowadays, Republicans don't tend to like those in their own party that lose.
