LPH-(laughing pretty hard!)Could be.
Or he just wanted to avoid the disgrace of impeachment.
Perhaps he was one of the few politicians capable of
feeling shame?
I don't know which outlets you are referring to. Usually, on any coverage of the rampage, they mention that 130/140 capitol police were injured. One was killed and apparently, two have committed suicide. It's curious how little attention is paid in the larger media outlets to the dozens of injuries suffered by the Capitol Police. They aren't scratches by any means. Yet, almost no mention at all that I've seen. What about you?
Kinda reminds me of how Trump easily manipulated his sheeples into believing the election was stolen. That's good... it also shows how one can manipulate interpretations.
He says that the jurisdictional question is up for debate, and that the text in the Constitution is ambiguous. But the Constitution GIVES the Senate the right and responsibility to make the rules, and the Senate did exactly that.

I have consistently been on record, I never voted for Trump. But fooling Trump haters is a low bar, they are easily fooled.I'm sure you could have fooled many. Don't need your sorrow. I'm sure it benefits you more.
So “overwhelming” yet the Democrats couldn’t prove it. Don’t be a kool aid drinking sheep. There was no “there” there. It depends on who was right, and the vote was overwhelming that trump incited insurrection and insurrectionists wanted to kill Nancy Pelosi and Mike pence.
Not as low as those who believed his lies over the steal, and still do.I have consistently been on record, I never voted for Trump. But fooling Trump haters is a low bar, they are easily fooled.
There were 8 Republicans who would have voted to convict if not for technicalities, and Kamala Harris counts as 1 vote.So “overwhelming” yet the Democrats couldn’t prove it. Don’t be a kool aid drinking sheep. There was no “there” there.

From what I saw of the trial, it was about validatingSo “overwhelming” yet the Democrats couldn’t prove it. Don’t be a kool aid drinking sheep. There was no “there” there.
So that more people would hear the lie that Trump told and retold over the past many months. The real question is why they pursued a trial they knew
in advance they'd lose?
Clearly so.he Republicans are the sheep, Trump is the Shepherd. The sheep blindly believed the Trump lie about the election.
I've decided to support a Trump win in 2024.Clearly so.
BTW, have you noticed not hearing congressional Republicans that got reelected claiming that they really didn't win because of "voter fraud"? I haven't heard a single one make that statement.
The reality is that Trump wanted to negate the election in only four states, and these were states key to switching to Biden that gave him the victory. None of the congressional Pubs that I know of claimed that the "fraud" included why they got reelected.
So, what did and do the Trump-loving Pubs want? Have another election? Can't happen, and the same whines would be heard if he lost again. Recounts? They were done, and the results stayed in Biden's favor. Overthrow the government? I think many undoubtedly would have loved that, but then we would have become a dictatorship under Trump-- democracy lost. And with that, Trump's BFF, Vladimir Putin, would be a VERY happy camper, because this is what he also has tried to do in Europe.
BTW, a recent poll has it that 86% of Americans don't want Trump to run in 2024. Does anyone seriously want to go through this again? Maybe masochists do, but if Trump ran and won, I'd swim the Detroit River to get to Canada even if I had to do it in the buff. I'd rather be in a Canadian jail for indecent exposure than to spend more time under a Trump presidency.

Democracy survived him. No new wars.
A strong economy until the plague.
The swim to Canuckistan will do you good.
And Trump's foes will continue to entertain us.
Woke posters know I'm a Trump supporter. Is this a real or satirical post? I can't tell. (Not being sarcastic; I actually don't know whether you mean it in earnest.)
Trump supporter, eh? Supporters come in all forms -- bras, jock straps, plaster casts, etc. Which one are you?Woke posters know I'm a Trump supporter.
Who am I to deny it, eh.
