Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump on Tuesday taunted North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, warning Kim about US nuclear capabilities as tensions worsen between the two nations.

"North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the 'Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.' Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!" Trump tweeted.

This is getting more and more absurd. "Mine is bigger than yours," as if a couple of adolescents are arguing on a schoolyard.

No, actually someone else won the popular election by about three million votes. But we don't elect the President, he is appointed by the Electoral College.

The US Electoral College system is a bit complicated to describe and I will not try. It was intended as a safeguard against a majority squashing the remainder, instead giving weight to the needs and desires of all regions of the country. It almost never results in a victor not having a majority popular vote but it can happen. BTW Clinton did not have a majority of the votes due to other minor candidates being in the race. In almost all countries that pick the head of state by popular vote, that means a runoff vote.

Did you forget shock and awe? They knocked Iraq to the stone age in no time flat. It's all the politics and secret CIA wars that follow that take some time. NK has really come up in the world on Obama's watch. Should Trump do as the democrats do and send Kim Jong a few billion dollars more to apease his worship.
