Trump ordered to pay nearly 355 million in NY fraud case.

This was a victimless crime. There was nobody who complained or came forth claiming to be a victim. It was the State of NY, that invented this victimless "crime", that had no victim, except its target; Trump.

Trump is a witch to the radial Left and he needed to be burnt at the stake; Trump derangement syndrome. Most people will see the injustice, and will support Trump, since this is the behavior of third world dictators and their kangaroo courts.

If I recall, they had top NY Bankers as witnesses, and none complained since they all said, everyone applying for loans, will put their plan and their best foot forward, which is why all banks have their own people to process the loans.

Recently, Elon Musk had been offered a large bonus, by the Federal Government, if he met milestones with respect to the electric car industry. Musk performed his end of the contract, but the Biden Administration, renegade on the bonus deal. Can Elon Musk sue for this fraudulent misrepresentation? This case has a victim who has a contract. That was another example of law fare, due to Musk leaving the DNC due to their 2020 crime wave. Musk is spending his money getting out the vote for Trump.
You're just repeating the same talking points again.

And please notice how MAGA never say "Trump didn't commit the crime." Instead, they just try to come up with reasons that he isn't actually accountable for the crimes he has committed.

No, it was not a "victimless crime". That we cannot find specific victims does not mean that there were not any.
Do you realize that banks have limited funds that they can loan at various rates?

Just like there are no victims in the case of election fraud. Who is really harmed by it? Well, you might say that we all are, since it undermines the legitimacy of elections, right? You can understand why there might be a law against election fraud, because it is something of a marquee issue for Republicans--the very reason that they pass all of these laws to ensure the "integrity" of elections.

But who is the victim when someone overinflates the value of their property in order to secure a loan or underinflates it to pay a smaller premium? Who is really harmed by it? Well, you might say that we all are, since it undermines the integrity of the banking system and drives up premiums that we all pay. But you are a Republican. So you still can't quite grasp the point of having laws that attempt to eliminate fraud against banks and insurers, not to mention taxpayers when the same property value is declared less valuable than it actually is. :astonished:

You think that materially misrepresenting the risk of a loan is victimless? Did you sleep through the 2007-8 financial crisis?

He does, but I wonder what Allen Weisselberg thinks as he sits in his New York jail cell right now. He was involved in the fraud that Trump was convicted of but still hasn't had to serve any time for. Weisselberg is a minor figure in Trump's crimes, just like Michael Cohen was. Both men have gone to jail for crimes committed by Trump, although Weisselberg never turned on Trump like Cohen did. Yet Trump supporters are all like "Where are the victims?" and "What's the harm?" That's the law and order party for you. The head of their party is a convicted felon, but it was "lawfare". So what if he stored some of the nation's most sensitive secrets in his bathroom to hide them from law authorities? Look at Hillary Clinton's email server. Wasn't that just as bad? :triumph:
