Two sources -- one American, one Mexican -- are reporting that Trump threatened to invade Mexico during a phone call with Enrique Pena Nieto, the Mexican president.

Mexico denies any such thing was said, while the White House as of now seems to be silent on the matter, neither denying nor confirming it. I expect a denial will come soon, though. It would be scandalous for the White House to admit that Trump said those things.
I myself don't believe Trump has plans to invade Mexico, but that the reports, if true, are further evidence of his irresponsible and troublesome tendency to engage in reckless, impulsive speech (or twitters, as the case may be).
What do you make of it?

from the LA Times article said:“You have a bunch of bad hombres down there,” Trump told Pena Nieto, according to the excerpt seen by the Associated Press. “You aren't doing enough to stop them. I think your military is scared. Our military isn't, so I just might send them down to take care of it.”
