Trump tries a stunt at Arlington National Cemetery and it fails horribly:

“No dumb ******* ever won a war by going out and dying for his country. He won it by making some other dumb ******* die for his country".

It's good to see good quotes are still surviving in the modern era.
There's nothing good about that. It's abusive, degrading and cruel.

Yep. Harris sure indeed does wipes her *** on the troops and dosent give two ****s along with her supporters who don't give a ****.

What were you saying about the first *** wiper?
Do you not know why it would not be appropriate for Harris to do that right now? The Vice President normally does not do those sorts of ceremonies. That is a Presidential action. She did not go to Arlington because she is campaigning right now and it is illegal for those campaigning to use events there for campaign purposes. Trump was doing what he was accused of. Harris not making them part of her campaign was honoring them.

I never heard of that one. Made it up?

Patton was further heard by war correspondent Noel Monks angrily claiming that shell shock is "an invention of the Jews."[19][20][21][22]

His abuse of his troops brought him a reprimand from Eisenhower.

His antisemitism is well-documented, even in his own hand.

You cannot claim that. The Snopes article does not refute the claim. It only says that it was not substantiated. The accusations were anonymous. But that does not mean "anonymous" as they would be if they originated here. A reporter that regularly interviews and talks to Trump workers made that claim, but his source did not want his name out there. That sort of "anonymous" claim is more reliable than an internet anonymous, but it is not considered proof that Trump said it. It is merely likely true. It does fit with Trump's character and the event that led up to it. Biden did go a bit overboard in citing it as a fact. For a fact you need more than an anonymous claim from an unnamed Trump worker.

So did Trump say that? We cannot know for sure.
If I recall didn't that comment occur at the first fake impeachment of Trump, when Trump was impeached to protect the Biden Family Influence peddling racket in Ukraine? This was before the laptop, and after the failed Russian Collusion Coup, when that scam could sort of work. Schiff and the other crooks spun the Biden Family Influence peddling in Ukraine, as Trump trying to pull a quid pro quo, against poor honest Biden, by black mailing the President of Ukraine for some dirt about Biden. It involved firing the prosecutor who was investigating the Biden Oligarch.

Some Leftist weasel in the Military was there presenting circumstantial evidence as part of the scam. He was labeled the sucker and loser. Then fake news spun this targeted comment, to suggest Trump was addressing the entire military, and not just one sycophant. Scam upon scam upon scam. That is all you have when you have no good policy ideas.

Here is the problem. It is illegal to use Arlington National Cemetery in that manner. Filming for campaign ads is not allowed there.

There is a bit more detail here, but it is a "leftist" source:

What they were filming was the graves the dead soldiers killed after the botched Biden and Harris withdrawal from Afghanistan. I am sure the Harris campaign pulled a bureaucratic nutty, to avoid the truth on the Big screen. When it comes to the DNC and the bureaucratic state, think law fare and over stepping common decency all for the coverup. One is dealing with a crooked element that needs a purging.

There was no "fake impeachment of Trump", or are you referring to the dishonest acts of the Senate where they did not even allow any evidence against Trump. That was a perfect example of a kangaroo court.

Can you give an answer that is not loaded with falsehoods? When you answer in this way all that one has to do is to point to the endless false claims.

And did you even have a point? When you make just false claims I ignore a good part of your posts.

That was the Trump's plan. Try again. Biden followed Trump's plan. He did not have enough time to craft his own. When you make a gross mistake I stop there.

So what did you want to say? Start off with "What they were filming was the graves the dead soldiers killed after the botched Trump planned withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Latest updates:

  • Two defense officials told NBC News that a member of Trump's team pushed an employee at the cemetery, as part of the effort to take photographs at Section 60. The same NBC News report added that military police were called and wrote up an incident report, which has not been made public. (The Trump campaign has denied reports of a physical altercation.)
  • A U.S. Army spokesperson also told NBC News in a written statement that those participating in the wreath-laying ceremony on Monday were made aware of federal laws, Army regulations, and Pentagon policies, which clearly prohibit political activities on cemetery grounds.
  • That same Army spokesperson said an employee who works at Arlington National Cemetery attempted to ensure adherence to the rules when she was "abruptly pushed aside." According to the Army, the employee "acted with professionalism and avoided further disruption."
  • The woman who works at the cemetery and filed an incident report has declined to press charges, The New York Times reported on Wednesday, citing military officials. According to the report, which has not been independently verified by MSNBC or NBC News, the woman feared “retaliation” from Trump’s followers.
  • The same Times report highlighted concerns from one family, whose loved one served eight combat tours and is buried at Arlington, that believes the Trump campaign filmed his gravesite without permission.
  • The Associated Press reported, citing a defense official, that the Trump campaign received warnings about not taking photographs in Section 60. If that report is accurate, the Republican operation did not heed those warnings.
  • Mark Esper, who served as Trump’s Defense secretary, called for an investigation into the incident. Similarly, Democratic Rep. Gerry Connolly of Virginia issued a written statement calling for the release of documents related to Monday’s incident.
  • USA Today published a report on veterans who were not pleased with Trump’s actions. The article quoted retired Maj. Gen. Paul Eaton, a senior adviser at VoteVets, who called the campaign’s actions at the cemetery “nauseating” and “repugnant.”
  • As feared, Team Trump has already released a campaign video featuring footage of the GOP candidate’s visit to Arlington.
  • Did the Trump campaign’s actions this week violate the law? A Washington Post report reviewed the relevant details. As I noted earlier this week, Trump was apparently at the cemetery at the invitation of some family members of fallen service members. While those family members deserve respect and sympathy, politicians still aren’t supposed to exploit Arlington to advance their personal ambitions.
  • Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance said Vice President Kamala Harris “can go to hell” for criticizing Trump’s cemetery appearance, despite the fact that Harris hadn’t actually made any such criticisms. The Ohio senator later declined to say whether presidential candidates should have to abide by federal law prohibiting campaigns from filming at gravesites.

I loved how the Trump team immediately claimed to have video showing that the allegations of them were false. And then refused to supply claimed video. Do even the MAGA's believe this?

Some of them will, absolutely. And because they do stuff like this and get away with it, they keep doing it. I understand why the woman didn't want to press charges, but it's sad it's come to that. She would surely get death threats from MAGA. Such intimidation is why they do it.

Yes, Patton became a failed hero as he became better known in the public eye.

So the intrepid Trump photo op entourage manhandled a woman employee of the cemetery, shoving her aside, to make an illegal campaign film in violation of the Code of Federal Regulations:

Title 32 Subtitle A Chapter V Subchapter D Part 553

The reason that the government prohibits using cemeteries for campaign events is that such events do not have the consent of those interred there or their families to have their gravesites used as political props. If that were allowed, we would see a never-ending stream of politicians trying to use the cemeteries for those purposes. In this case, the family that invited Donald Trump did not have permission to use the cemetery as a backdrop for his campaign photo op, no matter what they may have thought. People can only take private photos there for personal use. Trump's campaign falsely claimed to have permission, as the Army has made clear, and the woman who was physically shoved aside was not having a mental problem. She was doing her job.

So far, no apologies from the Trump campaign, but does anyone expect contrition on their part? They got what they wanted. That's the kind of people they are and the kind of candidate they are promoting.
