Say you apply for a job, but you fudge your resume. Since you are good at interviewing, the people you interview offer you the job. They do not bother to dig into your resume, since you see very competent, and are therefore not aware that you lied on your resume.

If down the line, human resources finds out the lie on your resume, after you have worked for 2 years, they have the right to terminate you. One is not grandfathered in, based on a good initial con job.

The office of President is not something, that once achieved, by hook or crook, gives you diplomatic immunity, from all deceptive tactic and corruption. If that is the case, then all criminals will need to do, is get the job and act like you are the teflon don; let the buyer beware. I don't even understand what Walker is saying half the time. I think proper articulation is a required benchmark for a person to be viable in politics, albiet these days that aspect is pretty much out the window.
