Trump's moment of radical honesty

So, now we're supposed to celebrate because Trump finally told the truth on something? Talk about a "low bar".
I don't think the left would celebrate anything Trump said. As long as the country is doing better, talk is cheap. Actions are the proof.

Some will, some won't. I don't believe in stereotyping.

Actions are the proof.
Yes they are, and with Trump and his Trumpettes in charge, they have little to show for it, plus what they have accomplished is seriously flawed on many levels. The tax cuts are not conservative in any way, his bromance with Kim is not likely to produce anything for us but gives plenty to Kim, and our allies are wondering what has happened to what used to be a reliable U.S. And this is just the beginning of the train-wreck presidency, so stay tuned for more sour tunes by Trump & the Trumpettes.

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...

As long as the country is doing better, sure. Let us know when that starts happening.

Agreed. Let's "wait and see". I did that with the ACA as well. Hmmm........ I did that with taking out Khadafi. I did that with the war in Iraq. So this is no different. Let's see what happens with Tax cuts, NK and the G7.

I am optimistic, where you tout pessimism.

So far, things are looking good (in verifiable figures). Some hate Trump more than they love the country. I don't listen to the hate, but rather love of country, including over our allies.

Let's see what really happens when the nuke drops. Maybe it doesn't work.

I never said anything like that. I pointed out Trump made a joke that went over people's heads. Hence the reaction of some here.

I make it very clear why I have pessimism in certain areas and I see nothing constructive coming from your posts. Your use of stereotyping is blatantly immoral, and yet after being repeatedly warmed that you are doing it you just keep coming back with more.

I don't listen to the hate, but rather love of country, including over our allies.
Complete nonsense as I've put you on my ignored list at least twice that I remember because of some of your hate-filled posts, plus your taking positions that are the antithesis of basic Christian teachings, such as the tax cuts that will hurt the poor and many elderly, his racist statements, his threats of war, his bragging about groping women, his adulterous affairs, his persistent lying, his violation of laws whereas he's been fined, etc. Why would someone claiming to be a Christian support someone like that?

I am so uncomfortable now you bring Trump and Christianity together in paragraphs like that *shudders
Gandhi said that if one thinks that religion and politics can be separated, then they don't really understand religion. I'll also add that they don't understand politics either.

I'm not being sarcastic towards you on this to but point out that we have some people here who say they are Christian, and yet they take positions in certain areas that are the antithesis of what Jesus taught. My purpose of citing them for this is not to shame them but to try to get them to connect-the-dots between the two. IOW, try and get them to realize their cognitive dissonance.

What hate filled posts? Show me. Just because I disagree with an idea doesn't mean I hate. You're just wound too tight. And have a liberal view of free speech and ideologies. IF I disagree with you, I'm hateful, or racist, or sexist, etc.

Typical.

Again, you're just being dishonest, plus you resorted with another one of your stereotypes when you wrote "Typical". No wonder you support Trump.

Trump is merely taking credit for an unemployment trend that has been in progress since long before his administration...many presidents do this. Trumps admission that he would lie may come from a deep hope that if he could earn the Nobel peace prize he would achieve a level of acknowledgment and appre citation that he never dreamed of. For a moment his guard fell....
