like I said, try looking up on a map where the Panama Canal is and try again.
You have heard of the country called "Panama", right?
Oh you mean Panama county in the new state of Mexico?

do you honestly think if the wall is built that no one else will use the tunnels?
The idea behind the wall is to keep illegal imigrants from entering the USA from Mexico.Oh you mean Panama county in the new state of Mexico?

Having the wall THREE COUNTRIES the OTHER SIDE of Mexico will not accomplish that.
I can't blame them for missing it, as its an incredibly stupid suggestion. They would be legal as a new state. Did you miss the invasion part?
Just think of the jobs that would create?
You got to have pilots, techs, mechanics, power stations to rechrge the batteries, clean up crews....
A wall will make it more difficult for people smuggling drugs and other things.
With drugs, the problem is not per se drug use, but the social harms that come from the drug trade and drug use.
If supply reduces, prices go up. While this might reduce casual usage, it tends to have little effect on addicts, however addicts have to fund their habit which requires them to commit more crimes. Drugs also tend to get cut more, often with more dangerous pharmaceutical products (i.e. fentanyl for heroin) increasing overdoses and hospitalisations. A restriction in drug supply can actually accentuate harms rather than reduce them.
If the price goes up, this also attracts more people to the trade and makes it viable to invest in more sophisticated drug importing techniques. Alternatively, it simply increases the amount that the cartels can afford to lose in customs seizures at legal border crossings, and there is a never ending supply of people willing to carry it over for them. More people being caught at the border also wastes tax payers money incarcerating them for 10+ years at $50,000 a year.
Increased profits also lead to greater conflict between drug gangs causing additional social harms.
A wall will not help to solve the drug problem in America, that is for certain.
