To understand truth in cultivation of a spiritual path (religion) one see that when we begin the path we see truth one way, but when we cultivate our mind and body we can go deeper in to truth, so a novice can say, i see the truth. then a person who have attained more wisdom will come and say, No what you see is not truth, this is truth, and he explain his wisdom.

But his truth was not the highest truth. He only saw truth up to his own wisdom level.

So when we discuss, we all see truth from different levels. so you may think your answer is the correct, then someone comes and correct you. Do not get angry and think badly about what was corrected. ponder about what the other person said, and see if there was truth in his words :)
But you will find the answer within you :)

"The good deeds of the righteous are the sins of the near ones", springs to mind.

Mmmmmmmmmm fallacies. Truth is usually defined as that which comports with reality. From all of our knowledge, it seems likely that the universe existed long before human consciousness. So in other words that reality is independent of ourselves. So its not about seeing truth from different levels. The truth that the universe existed before humans isn't a matter for debate. Well I mean it can be debated if you want to claim the matrix or something, but the null hypothesis combined with the evidence should lead us to believe that the existence of the universe is a fact.

Truth does not contradict itself. One truth does not contradict another. So if 5 men set out on a search for truth and find it they will find themselves arrive at the same destination and be united.

There is a car being driven from the west to east, two men are standing on either side of the road. The man on the southern side says that the wheels of the car are turning clock wise, the man on the Northern side, says the wheels are turning anti-clockwise. One man contradicts the other, but both are telling the truth.

It all depends on your particular point of view, doesn't it?

But if you ask someone to look at a object and ask them to turn around and not look at it then to describe it, you get different answer from them, because it come down to de perception of what you see. so tou can not say truth is constant :)

What is truth to one, may be a lie. One who considers themselves wise, may not be wise.

Isaiah 5:19, to those who say, “Let Him hurry and hasten His work so that we may see it! Let the plan of the Holy One of Israel come so that we may know it!” 20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness to light and light to darkness, who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter. 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.…
I have no need to "show off" but i like helping people to gain a a new insight to things. And i dont ask anyone to belive in what i say. if they do not belive that is fine too

Yet it’s the same sun that shines upon them from above.

The sun may be seen differently through different coloured lens but it is the same sun everyone is seeing. So those with yellow glasses form a group called the yellow religion and those with red glasses form another religion the red religion and yet another religion is formed by those wearing blue glasses called the blue religion.

Each maintain that their colour is true and eventually go to war with the other colours over a mere illusion when it was and is the one same sun but only if we take off our glasses and remove our illusions can we all see that it is the same sun of Truth we are all looking at.

While we wear the glasses of only one Faith it’s impossible to see that the sun we look at is exactly the same as others.

So to those who have freed themselves of attachment to their own glasses they see that just as the Sun of Truth shone in Buddha, it also equally shone in Krishna, Moses, Christ, Zoroaster, Muhammad, the Bab and Baha’u’llah. When we wear these glasses it’s ‘us and them’ but if we take them off we will find ourselves united.

The perception of truth is seen differently from person to person. this is why we have different views. And no it is not the same sun, because the rays you was looking at is no longer on the suns surface, so you no longer loo at the same sun ;) it take 8,5 minutes before the suns rays hit us, so the sun you see is not the sun that is actually there

Flowers of one garden, fruits of one tree and leaves of one branch.

All different but same. We are all different outwardly but we are one human race in essence.

some have drunk of the wine of oneness and these see nothing but the sun itself.”

How can that be when it is not same ray that hit different people? then it is no longer same light, right?

It’s still the same one sun and all the rays emanate from it so no matter where the rays fall on east or west they are from one sun,

It come from the same source but is still different :) so yes i agree

We are one brother.

Found this beautiful tribute to the Buddhas.

All the Buddhas are wonderful and glorious.
There is not their equal upon earth.
They reveal to us the path of life. And we hail their appearance with pious reverence.

1 All the Buddhas teach the same truth. They point out the path to those who go astray. The Truth is our hope and comfort. We gratefully accept its illimitable light.

2 All the Buddhas are one in essence Which is omnipresent in all modes of being, Sanctifying the bonds that tie all souls together, And we rest in its bliss as our final refuge.

(in imitation of a formula at present in use among Northern Buddhists)

Truth remains constant. Perception varies with the quality of vision and memory of the observer.

So to speak the truth you must see the truth as it is, right? what do i mean by this? Before we let go of the perception of truth we can not see the full truth.

Many people seem to hold contradictory views. Usually it happens when areas of study are separated from each other or when cognitive dissonance is operating.

How does that affect the Law of Non-Contradiction that I cited?! Kindly read my posts before replying.
