Tunisia and Egypt ! Way to go

You are definitely not chicken! Please do tell us more as you have updates.

inshaAllah you will have something to tell your children, that you were there when history was made.

We're writing a letter to our congressperson, inviting him to travel to Egypt with my husband to see first hand what is going on. Is there anything you'd want a US elected official to know?

Thanks for your support!
Well, it seems like the government is totally ignoring our screams for change. We didn't get any official response from the government regarding our requests until the moment.

The funny thing was that police members were smiling at us and praying for our success, and they kept screaming for our victory!
We were talking to many soldiers and police officials before they started attacking us, and they were all excited about what we do, and kept telling us that they wished they would join us!!

Isn't it weird that the same people attacking us were just the same ones praying for our success just before getting the orders to eject us!

I thought that the police was already under the government's thumb, but what about the army? Maro says that they are a separate entity, can there be support from them, or at least their refusal to harm Egyptians?

Well, let me tell you that those who go to jail, get beaten hard and injured are the experienced protesters only, but people like me are more like chicken in such situations, especially if it's their first time, as in my case..

did the experience make you braver and more willing to join the next time...or did it assert your fears ,Ahmad ?

I have heard an expert on T.V saying that some arab armies are experienced in harming the people for the sake of the authoritorian regimes....and that the egyptian army ,like the tunisian ,is not one of them

Also ,the prophet (pbuh) described the egytian militrary as
(the best soldiers on Earth ) , i hope that reassures you and thanks for your sincere concern Abibi :)

They are poor and helpless, they can do nothing except following the orders!!
I envy you, Ahmed and thanks a lot for the heads-up, please keep it coming...

An excellent video about the protests and their heroes:

Why makes you so confident about this, Mayada?

Hello for all our Egyptian brothers and sisters, I'm sure you have seen it but if not here is a short list by the Tunisian people of advising how to protest peacefully.

  • Tunisians posting advice for [Egyptian] protesters: "Sing national anthems and Egyptian poems to reach hearts of Security forces"

  • "we [in Cairo] gave the policemen water because they had been standing all day &were thirsty." (also flowers, cookies, chocolate...)

  • "Black spray [paint] to paralyse armed vehicles. Ingenious"

  • "Tips coming out of Tunisia: Spray paint police trucks' windshields so they can't see/drive. Wash tear gas victims' faces with milk"

  • "Protesters ask families to support protest from balconies and windows > pour water on troops."

  • "protesters diverting Police to fake venues through Social Media. Big Brother not being so smart but slowly catching on"
Also a link if you need it for twitter/facebook bypass and ability to give wifi to protesters using your WLAN router.

Barak Allahu feek bro Ahmed, may Allah preserve you and all the free Egyptians!

Our government is totally different from the Tunisian one....I believe that their arrogance makes them insist on ignoring us as they always do.... The only thing they are thinking of is using violence to end up this revolution, I heard that the army is already there in Suez (I'm not sure).....I think the use of force is a clear sign that they wouldn't leave before they shed the blood of the Egyptian people....7abyia Allah w ni3m al wakeel!

The funny thing was that police members were smiling at us and praying for our success, and they kept screaming for our victory!
Perhaps some of them were just following the orders!

By 'experienced' , he meant that they have actual experiences in the past in dealing with the angry crowd..and saying that the egyptian army is not experienced is stating a fact ,not an opinion ,Sahar

the other thing ,is that the army has no pragmatic reason to support an old groggy regime that has lost all its credibility and is about to fall , I bet that there are some sane people in the military who wouldn't go for it..especially ,that we are at the borders of the zionist malignancy

I can't say i am 100% certain..but this is the most probable scenario to me

Is there a chance the military would try to install its own dictator?

Heres what prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said about these situations:

If anyone could find the translation of it I would be thankful
I was blind and now I learnt, and then you have the following:

So dear dear egyptian brothers and sisters be aware of disobeying Allah orders, and please send this to anyone you know Barakallahu feekum

I ask Allah everyday in my prayers that He perserves you all, wallahul Musta'ane wala hawla wala Quwatta ila Billah

My dear sister, from Durar Sunia Website:

The hadeeth is not correct

And Allah knows best

The Egyptian government has shut down the internet and cell phones to prevent the protesters from communicating but i guess the masses have anticipated that this was coming. I hope our dear brothers and sisters in Egypt will be victorious.

The army went to the street but it didn't harm the protesters.

Mubarak, the President of Egypt has announced the resignation of the current government claiming that he will assign an new one. How ironic!

Peace

Quran & Sunnah
May our dear Allah be your supporter and protect you my dear Egyptian sisters and brothers, ameen!!!
