Are you a parent? Do you have any clue about parenting? You can't control a young adult. BUT you can teach and hope she/he will listion and remember your guidance.

It seems that you don't know that nikah mota'a نكاح المتعة was practiced during the life of the prophet, Abu Bakr until Umar has decided to cancel it!

No it isn't a bash against Islam. Islam is indeed the knife that is held against their throat in that part of the world but its not the knife's fault.
