That is really interesting.
For me there is only 1. Eternal Life or 2. Everlasting Life or 3. Hell.
Hell is punishment from God that is either eternal to the person who receives it or as punishment that can be meted out by God at any time in the eternities.
I am wondering to which 'hell ' you are referring___________The Bible's hell, or some religious-myth hell __________
Religious-myth hell teaches a burning hell forever, the Bible's hell is just mankind's temporary stone-cold grave for the sleeping dead.
When King James translated the word Gehenna into English as hell fire that put the flames in hell.
Gehenna was just a garbage pit outside of Jerusalem where thing were destroyed. Thus, Gehenna stands for: destruction.
The Bible's hell comes to a final end according to the Bible at Revelation 20:13-14.
After everyone in biblical hell is ' delivered up ' (meaning resurrected out of biblical hell) then emptied-out hell is cast vacant into that symbolic ' second death ' for vacated biblical hell.
While in biblical hell the dead sleep in death according to Jesus at John 11:11-14.
So, while dead Jesus was in hell (grave) he was in a sleep-like state until his God resurrected Jesus out of hell - Acts 2:27.
Jesus was well educated in the old Hebrew Scriptures which teach sleep in death - Psalms 115:17; Isaiah 38:18; Ecclesiastes 9:5
As for the wicked: they will be destroyed forever (Not burned) - Psalms 92:7; Psalms 104:35; Proverbs 2:21-22.
The choice then is: 'repent' if you don't want to ' perish ' (be destroyed) - 2 Peter 3:9
1. Eternal / Everlasting Life either on Earth or in Heaven.
2. Eternal /Everlasting Destruction (perish forever).
3. Biblical hell ( grave ) gone forever. ' Enemy Death ' to be brought to nothing according to 1 Corinthians 15:26.
