They should be lasting up to 50 times longer. Do you have a problem with your electric supply, uneven, spiky supply can shorten led life, as can overheating
We have a very reliable, even electricity supply. They just don’t last as long as in our lamps or overhead light fixtures. Always careful to use the correct light bulb wattage, too.

We've had none burn out, the 8 in the lounge have been fitted for more than 5 years now.
Before that we had incandescent bulbs that lasted not much more than a year.

Do you have DC power supply? According to the article that may make a difference. We have AC.

Yes, all Europe is 220v (roughly) AC at 50 cycles.

I think America is 60 cycles.

Interestingly the voltage isn't guaranteed and can range from 190 to 250. Ours ranges between around 210 to 225vac. But the number of cycles is always 50
