U.S. Punishes Russia for Election Hacking, Ejecting Operatives

You want me to decipher your comparison to a musical?

I'll discuss anything but at least try to make an easy to understand response. You're leaving much to translate here.
I saw that response as simple obfuscation. The idea that Putin did this for anything but his own Russian ambition is a little to ridiculous to post.

I believe that Obama wants the US to be in war before he leaves his stricken post, he is evil to its fullest.

A foreign nation allegedly breached US security. There's much we don't know because not all the evidence has been released. I'm of the mindset that the public doesn't always deserve all information when national security is at risk. So I'm making a big assumption that Obama is acting on credible information from our intelligence agencies.

So let's assume that these allegations are true, would you do nothing to those that carried out these breaches? The act of war did not start with these sanctions. Maybe it didn't start with these security breaches either. To insinuate that war is caused by solely Obama can be very misleading here.

No, he is a warmonger, and I wouldn't trust him in an orgy, he is nothing but a closet Muslim.

Uhmm.... Sorry but that was pretty racist coming from you. That just doesn't match the persona that I think of concerning your previous posts.

You are comparing all Muslims to warmongers?

Obama is not a Muslim. And even if he was, that does not mean he's a warmonger. Sorry man, but this response has been the lowest I've read from you.

If Putin truly breached our system to help Trump win the election, I would assume it is not in the favor of America's interests. Can we at least agree on this?
No agreement because it's also possible that Americastan's interests lie in a direction different from Hillary's.
Certainly, Putin would serve his own agenda, but if it helps us too, I'm OK with that.
We shall see.

Obama is only making showy but empty gestures.
So it won't cause a war.
(Money back guarantee on that.)
Just look at Putin's response....

Then we at least agree it serves Putin's agenda. If it helps us too, is wishful thinking. Any leader from Obama to Trump to Hillary I would expect in higher regards to not follow a passive mindset. Let's not allow foreign agendas to make us greater again even by chance. I don't know about you, but I personally don't rely on chance for my success. I expect a thorough and thought out internal policy to drive our nation to success no matter who the leader to be.

If I'm to wish for something, good fortune sure beats misery.
But then....I'm not a Democrat.

If you don't want foreign or other powers to improve our elections
by releasing info about corruption, the best course is to fight the
corruption itself (rather than demand it be kept secret). Then
they can't exploit that weakness.

First of all. Happy new years!

Again, let me reiterate that I'm not against Russia releasing information on the DNC. If they did, then they should be upfront about it and admit that they hacked our systems to get that information. Then they should be upfront as to how it serves their agenda by doing such an act.

Since I wouldn't mind more transparency not just from the DNC, why not demand more from Russia, the GOP, and from Trump's team. Let's release sensitive information from all the camps. Do you think that would have made a more fair and straightforward election to be able to know everyone's dirty secrets? Would have made my choice easy and especially with confidence. I agree we should fight against corruption but we should be fighting for it from all parties involved.

Again, let me iterate that it is the action of breaching our national security that concerns me. Was it legal? Was it an act of aggression? Who's agenda does it serve? Who they hacked within the US is arbitrary. It could have been Trump's team and I would argue the same here. I have repeated this several times. :)

I like dirty secrets being aired.
Even it doesn't seem to help people vote more wisely, it's entertaining.
And I think it has a slight inhibiting effect upon pols.
They should live in fear of their sins being made public.
Oh chin horror show!

There's a frubal for the 1st poster to recognize that last comment.

This is why I am convinced that Wikileaks is anti-American. Back when they were releasing damaging information about the USA, I was good with it. I was also expecting similar revelations about other governments though. That never materialized.
Same with the DNC. Given what went on as Trump went from joke candidate, insulting Heidi Cruz and lying about his business acumen, to nominee, there were all sorts of interesting dramas going on. How did Colorado happen to give all their delegates to Cruz? What email exchanges led up to Trump declaring himself a Christian? Where's all that information?

Who's agenda does it serve? Who they hacked within the US is arbitrary. It could have been Trump's team and I would argue the same here. I have repeated this several times. :)
This is something that partisans like esmith and Rev are apparently unable to grasp. There are those of us who don't wave away things that are bad for the country just because they serve our partisan goals.

Calling me out, eh?
To do so without an <alert> is a real faux pas.

Why is it that so many Hillary fans take her loss so personally,
& then lash out at those of us who voted against her? Hmmm.....
It's a self answering question.

There are perspectives other than your own, ones which see the same
things you do, but also much more. We compared the 2 candidates,
& picked the less dangerous one.

Wikileaks is an anti-Americastanian conspiracy?
Uh oh.....someone's been reading Conservapedia again....& taking it seriously.
ochen khorosho

But I cheated.
I can respect that.

Blame the Russians? Who put up the internet? Besides, I think Trump will do what the Bible layed out in a quicker way. which isnt looking good for him.

This is why you shouldn't use advanced tech against other nations and try to keep it secret. especially when they are capable of better mathmatical organization and scientific finds.

For the sake of argument, let's just say Russia did what they are claimed of doing. How is that HACKING the election?

It isn't.
The problem is that some media source and/or a member of the losing party decided that the only way that the Hillary could have lost the election was due to an outside source affecting the election. Thus if the emails were released illegally it had to be hacking and it must have been the Russians, therefor Hillary lost the election because the Russians hacked emails. Then election lost.......Russians hacked the election and they wanted Trump to win.
It's amazing how the mind of children work, isn't it.
