Regarding the topic: Just your usual UN BS.

Jews do tend to use their past sufferings to cry wolf !
Let me ask you a question: 2/3 of all Jews living in Europe, roughly 6 million of them, were mostly victims of genocide; so if 2/3 of Americans were murdered because of genocide over less than one decade, do ya think that this might stick out in our memory? If 2/3 of your entire extended family was murdered, heaven forbid, do you think that would stick out in your memory?

"Never Again" is used to apply to all people, not just Jews, btw.

Absolutely, but we must be careful not to use previous, personal tragedies as an excuse to cause harm to other people. The Holocaust was horrendous, but it does not justify their own malicious actions after the fact.

I certainly do not and will not justify everything that Israel has done and continues to do, and I'm very far from being a Netanyahu/Likkud fan, but we still need to remember that it takes two to tango, so there should be responsibilities and accountability placed on both Israel and the Palestinians. What I run across all too often are people who will take just one side and then demonize the other. In order to have peace, all sides have to work on it.

Hamas intentionally targets civilians in Israel to be killed as part of their stated policy, plus they say that Israel must be destroyed. Obviously, there is no such intent by the Israeli government.

Now, beware of using false equivalencies.

I find it as laughable as most of the actions of the UN. Laugh or I will cry.

It is predicated on error and manipulation in its language and selection and presentation of ideas. I file it away with the other empty statements the UN has made. The editorial is not even about the resolution itself. It is about which countries signed on to it, buying into the claptrap.

Just for fun, there's this article:

So are you saying that you are managing to constrain their increase to about 3% that takes some doing....

You have got to be f***ing kidding me.

So the Jews are conspiring to hide their Genocide among the Palestinians in such shrewd ways that it won't show in the official demographic changes.

So any explanation from your side as to why the growth rate in Israel is lower than the one in the Palestinian territories?
As a matter of fact do you have any idea how it is somewhere else in the world? How about you have a look?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_population_growth_rate

So please tell me why oh so many countries have lower growth rate than the Palestinian territories. Is it the Jews? Its the Jews isn't it.

Genocide is a poor term to use, for sure. But there are some very questionable actions taken by Israel since it's birth that should be investigated. But we all know it won't happen.

A poor term? So you think its a Genocide but don't want to call it that.
Questionable actions my ***. The Palestinian territories have a bigger population growth than many actual countries.
What's the "real" percentage? And after proving that I want to see the mass graves. Please with GPS coordinates.

Hmm... that figure is suspiciously high. Where did you see that number at?

Except its not.

Year WB Gaza Total
1970 0.69 0.34 1.03
1980 0.90 0.46 1.36
1990 1.25 0.65 1.90
2000 1.98 1.13 3.11
2010 2.52 1.60 4.12
2014 2.73 1.82 4.55

In millions by the way.

You are assuming, incorrectly I might add.

We aren't discussing population growth.

I think your emotional reaction has led you to be uncritical. You are making some very blind assumptions about my position that are incorrect.

Except its not.

Cool, thanks! I didn't know it was that high.

Sounds like you think the majority of Jews -- or at least a significant minority -- tend to cry wolf. If so, do you have any real evidence of that?
Interesting question for sure. In fact, the only real time I hear about "crying wolf", so to speak, is when we are discussing the current OP. Outside of that, I never hear it.

No one in the Middle East is without blame. The only solution I'd support whole-heartedly would be rendering the entire area a UN administration zone, from the Suez to the Iranian border.

Maybe when all of those squabbling children learn to play nice and share their toys they can have sovereignty back.
I've long thought that at least placing Jerusalem under UN administration would be a great idea.

What's the UN got to say about 3rd and 4th generation Palestinian "refugees"? (Another growing population.)

Love everyone, meditate often
genocide of the Palestinian people.
Let's think about it for a second... The Jews have one nation, Israel. The Palestinians have like twelve or more. And the only thing that the Palestinian people care about is the Jewish people's section of land that is about the size of New Jersey.

But those Jews, those Jews are out to take over the world dag gummit! :) Look at all the land they have! :)

I wonder what would happen if the people with the larger borders laid down their weapons.

Which makes sense as there is no historical Palestinian nation.

Doesn't seem like a point worth arguing given that there is, by the same standards, no historical Lakota nation, no historical Mohawk nation, no historical Apache nation, etc.
