Unisex restrooms

Viker

In 1974 when I was in India, there was a field I had to cross that was a "minefield" of poop. You can have it. ;)
No thanks. Sometimes, I find, offering the most absurd solutions can help us solve our more absurd problems.

As far as unisex vs gender bathrooms go, I've been in situations where there's a long line of women and none for men so a number of women took it on themselves to ignore the sign and join us. It felt a bit odd at the time because of my upbringing and experience but marriage and my wife coming in to do something while I was having a sitzkrieg and visa versa to wear the psychological reaction.

How do you feel about them? Call me old-fashioned but personally I’m kind of creeped out.
Didn't you mean "unisex" restrooms? Same sex is what we have, now (all male or all female).

Anything new tends to be awkward for people. But truth be told we can get used to pretty much anything, and do so fairly quickly. And this solution does resolve a lot of this current gender identity nonsense.

I got used to them in college. No problem for me. If people are bent out of shape of someone with the wrong genitals or genetics using a restroom, then instead of a generic "woman" or "man" shape on the door, they should show a penis or vulva or genetic code on the door and then have genetic or genital inspections to enforce it. Seems much more simple and adaptable to shifting gender roles to just go to same sex restrooms and have more private areas in them.
It’s a modesty thing.

I've been in that line many times before. The men's line is always shorter. And moves faster.
