I am sorry... but contraceptives are not the same as abortion.Do you believe the same with birth control and withdrawal prior to ejaculation?
IMO, I think the reality is that the vast majority of people just enjoying doing it, thus not necessarily trying to have children. Is that morally wrong? IMO, not intrinsically.
I was referring to why people have sex, not that abortion and contraception are equivalent. IOW, what I was responding to was your statement on "lust".I am sorry... but contraceptives are not the same as abortion.
Because sperms and egg cells will die anyway.
What of it? Masons are often Christian. But by policy all Masons must be a theist of some sort. Lots of Masons have been Deists.Yes. Mason Carducci wrote the Hymn to Satan.
I have to laugh, not that you're wrong but that my old girlfriend's last name was "Carducci". I got a weakness for Italian women.Yes. Mason Carducci wrote the Hymn to Satan.

As does his "two Corinthians." It's like an American spy in Nazi Germany not starting a hand count with the thumb.
You speak very much for yourself.I was using a hyperbole. I meant that abortion vilifies the meaning of sex, making it not worth it.
Yeah. I don't know how anyone accepts him as Christian when he doesn't even say the books of the Bible as those who have been or are Christian would.I had to Google 2 Corinthians.
Was hoping for “two Corinthians walk into a bar….”
" the need to write for future generations was their purpose. "Does Jesus specifically mention abortion, not that I know of, but that would be making an argument from silence. You seem to get very wrapped up in the 'exact' words of Jesus. This is the food, the nectar of scholars. What you read in the Gospels are from the next generation, the sub-apostolic. With the realization that the promised second coming had not yet happened, the need to write for future generations was their purpose.
