I have been lacto-ovo-veg for years at a time. Then I go carnivorous when the mood takes me. Vegans become excellent cooks. And the protein thing is just a beatup. Toor dahl is nearly 20% protein. And anyway, the body can only absorb about 25 grams of protein in one sitting. So most of a big steak becomes expensive urine. Madness.
