Yesterday I had a vege burger topped with satay sauce and a side salad with chunks of haloumi on top.

For dinner I had a delicious noodle stir fry.

If I'm not mistaken..... Kosher cheese will ALWAYS be vegetarian friendly.

How many people eat meat, from beef to fish to shellfish, and consider themselves vegetarian?

I probably never specified, but this thread is meant for ovo-lacto vegetarianism

so yeah I would say kosher cheese is veg friendly :D

I didn't figure the cheese wasn't ;)

Good to know what ground we on, as I don't really 'get' why people who still eat meat say they are vegetarian....

I don't want to tell you what you are and aren't....

But it's hard to explain to the lunch counter lady why chicken and fish aren't vegetarian options, imo, even though the last 'vegetarian' took the Tuna Salad sandwich.

In a friendly tone I ask, 'why do you consider yourself a vegetarian, even though you eat meat?'

It's a contradiction to me. I mean...
I'm glad you are eating enough vegetable and little enough meat to consider yourself one...

But why DO you consider yourself one and not just a most herbaceous omnivore?

I suppose the ocassional sausage does make me a meat eater.

Someone who eats fish but no other meat would be a "Pescectarian".

I´ve heard the term "Flexitarian" around :p

In any case, the times you have a ovo-lacto veg lunch, dinner, etc, feel free to share here :namaste
