That's the real Islam from the real rule book.
How many of them do you think actually will go along with it and try to kill us?
Can anyone here imagine a religion that orders it's adherents to murder all non-believers including family?
On the flip side, what's it like to live in a religion where you have to murder others to save your own life?
There's a REASON for the occurrence of the Crusades long ago.
There's a REASON to have another.
1.7 BILLION people are Muslims. One quarter of them are fundamentalist and WILL kill non-believers.
US population: ~ 324 million
.25 % of 1.7 billion: 400 million
And Muhamhead sometimes used his own wives and children to carry out punishments AKA terrorist attacks.
Don't tell me women and children won't kill like true predators.
I'm a TRUE Non-Believer and possibly an endangered species.

The quran is the major reference for all Muslims, if the left and the right hand is of that importance then
it was very easy to add a verse which says eating with your left hand is the work of evil.

The stupid thing is to believe a story without full investigation, so when I see a story talking
about eating with the left hand is the work of evil while not seeing it in the quran then that
means the story itself is the work of evil and the mad ones believe it to be an Islamic issue.

How can one be mad and go to war with 1,000 vs 10,000 soldiers and come out victorious? Maybe some people don't like Muhammad because he reminds them of their own failures.

If i were a judge, i wouldn't allow an insanity plea from a guy like that (or you).
There's a REASON Charlie Manson's still in prison never to be paroled.
I see no difference between the two men in their motives and methodologies.
Even if they are both insane, i will deny it and thereby their right to freedom under our laws.

I don't know if he was mad or not, but if his worshipers are at all a representation of his personality, then I suspect he was probably a pretty angry guy on occasion.

I would rather call him a liar, and if you read up a bit you'd know he didn't actually command those armies. Sure he was at the front but there were much more experienced muslims during those battles. He also didn't stay outnumbered did he? No he stormed into mecca with a larger army and destroyed religious art.
My sense is that he was smart, charismatic, a good politician, and a good general. But I also think he was a liar, a hypocrite, and probably a sociopath - much like many of today's politicians

How can one be a hypocrite when one is known to be as trustworthy?

You ever notice the only thing that just keeps calling him trustworthy is Islamic sources? You ever notice that they destroyed just about everything that may of said otherwise or any nonmuslim account of the time of Muhammad?
My studies of Muhammad have not led me to the conclusion that he was trustworthy. Just because a claim is made, doesn't mean the claim is true.
Let me give you another example: Many, many, many times in the Quran the claim is made that Allah is merciful. But if you read the Quran with an objective perspective, Allah seems to be anything BUT merciful. So things like trustworthiness and mercifulness are proved through actions, not words.
