Was the biblical Paul a Roman citizen or not?

Jesus was most definitely a Jew and he was a teacher whether you call him Rabbi or not.
I understand that Jesus got the training that was used to be given to the Rabbis. Till such time that due to his sincerity, purity of heart Jesus was selected by G-d as His messenger/prophet with a clear role for reformation of the Moses' religion from which the Jews had drifted away. Right, please?

"When Allah will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary, remember My favour upon thee and upon thy mother; when I strengthened thee with the Spirit of holiness so that thou didst speak to the people in the cradle and in middle age; and when I taught thee the Book and Wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when thou didst fashion a creation out of clay, in the likeness of a bird, by My command; then thou didst breathe into it a new spirit and it became a soaring being by My command; and thou didst heal the night-blind and the leprous by My command; and when thou didst raise the dead by My command; and when I restrained the children of Israel from putting thee to death when thou didst come to them with clear Signs; and those who disbelieved from among them said, ‘This is nothing but clear deception.’”

I don't think so.. When I read the Sermon on the Mount I think Jesus was trying to save the Jews who were on a collision course with Rome. There were at least 5 Jewish factions who were fighting each other and the Romans.

Which Jewish faction? Sadducees, Pharisees, Herodians, Zealota, Essenes?

It is pretty clear in the book of Matthew that Jesus told his disciples to obey the rulings of the Scribes and Pharisees (23:1) but not to follow their examples.

Sadducees, Pharisees, Herodians, Zealots, Essenes and Sicarri.

Herod's granddaughter, Queen Berniece, was the mistress of Titus.

The Jews were very divided and hated the Hellenized Jews in the North and they hated the Jews who collaborated with the Romans in Jerusalem.
