Any buddy who worships an animal. You just have to trust me in this, there is people who apparently worships them as they were some kind of a deity. They even decorate them as if they were on the same level as humans.
Apparently, there is people who worship animals. Yes, animals. Who are way lower in rank then a human.
What kind of potential do animals posses? It will probably take them millions of years to get to where we are.
Can a human run as fast as a horse?
What's wrong with those who worship invisible persons in the sky, with no evidence of their actual existence?
- Humans are animals, as has been stated already in this thread.
- It is humans who impose "ranks" onto nature. They are not intrinsic to it. In other words, calling some such organism of higher "rank" than another is purely some human's opinion.
- It is well-known to those who study the relevant sciences (for example, ecology) that the biosphere is highly interconnected and interdependent. The "great chain of being" is not supported by the sciences.
In. Your. Opinion.
If you want to put humans on a pedestal, you are certainly free to such a value system. You'll have plenty of company, as anthropocentrism is nauseatingly common. To those who put humans on a pedestal, it is foolish to ignore the pedestal itself. After all, you depend on that pedestal for your self-described lofty position. Without it, you fall. So who is really "higher" here?
You're equating technology with existential value.Technically, yes. We humans can travel at around 25,000 miles per hour.
Can animals do that?
Apparently, there are people who worship animals. Yes, animals. Who are way lower in rank then a human. They are not allowed to eat those animals nor kill them. And, if one were to eat that animal, the society would put them in jail, or even kill them. The society treats those animals like some kind of a deity. They even install shelters for them to live in. What’s wrong with those people who worship animals?
Humans have much more authority of animals. Why would they devalue themselves, and respect those animals like they are higher in-rank then a human? A human can engineer an animal, an animal on other hand can not engineer a human. In that case, an animal should worship the human not the other way around. Don’t you agree?
Owning an animal like a goat for example, represents wealth. Can there be a link between worshiping wealth and worshiping an animal?

Human technology threatens to destroy both ourselves and the whole ecosystem. Wouldn't that fact give us a negative value?
Well worshipping an animal is like worshipping a god, stay with me on this one, there isn't any evidence of God's existence, although we still blindly believe there is a divine being more powerful than anything that has ever existed, they worship animals as we worship our God, they have FAITH
Technically, yes. We humans can travel at around 25,000 miles per hour.
Why worship something that we own?
You thought wrong. We hardly control fire in the slightest, elsewise a house would never burn down.I thought humans can control fire.

What else are you going to control? Floods, Melting of glaciers and polar ice, Desertification of regions, Earth quakes, Tsunamis, Volcanoes, Meteor strikes? Baja California is breaking away from USA, is there a way that could be denied? How so? Don't you believe in the future human will be able to control tornadoes.
No we're not. By the mythology, that is exactly why Satan rebelled in the first place; because the angels were required to bow down before humans, and he would not bow to a lesser being. What kind of a faith is worshiping something that is much lower in rank? To me, it's like worshiping a Satan, because we humans are much higher in-rank then Satan.
On certain days we do worship cows (all that around Diwali, Govardhan), snakes (Naga Panchami); and in Nepal, Crows (Kak Tihar) and dogs (Kukur Tihar). The believers think that by holding the tail of a cow they will cross the 'Vaitarani' river and reach heaven.Again with the dishonest representation of other religions. I assume you're talking about Hinduism, where cows are venerated (but not worshiped). As odd as it may seem to the rest of us, it's still far, far more respectable than venerating some disgusting pedophile.
They have no compelling reason to do that. And humans are doing it for fun. They are not going to go any further than Mars, and that too for experimental purposes.Technically, yes. We humans can travel at around 25,000 miles per hour. Can animals do that?
Do you eat meat?
