What are the mistakes Muslims do when informing others about Islam?

I have learned to stop refering to the #uran. They will never "listen" if they are calling to my words as unwise. I have found more people receptive be just stateing my beliefs with a smile. My favorite thing is to speak of Salah (PBUH) the story seems to open them up and create a interest. I is nice when they find out it is in the #uran and speak of it as wise!

I think that is wise, rather than stressing to unbelievers that it is an inerrant document, share a bit of wisdom instead. Seriously, many Muslims must begin to confront how THEY project Islam. Sadly, many are in no position to try to explain it as their explanations often just make perception worse. In all fairness, I know that Muslims want to share the wonder of their religious zeal, what they believe is the straight path, but they have to try to appreciate that Islam may be served better by their silence. In theory, God does not need salespeople.
