I'm Playing Phantasy Star 0

Arrr no way!

I remember ages ago back when the Dreamcast was all the shizz, a game called Phantasy Star Online, my and one of my sister's would play it back in the day!

Did you ever play that one?

Also, what am I playing right now? Only two classic stealth games: Thief and Thief 2!

*sigh*... yes...

Oy vey...

Doesn't ANYONE remember the ORIGINAL Phantasy Star games!? You know, the ones that took place in the Algo star system and where each game would take place a thousand years after each other? Anyone remember the Phantasy Star II for the Sega Genesis, the pre-Sonic the Hedgehog RPG which had, in my opinion, the greatest twist ending ever in a video game?!

Will Sonic Team ever revisit the Algo Star System? I know that the ending of Phantasy Star IV doesn't leave much in the way of a follow-up, but maybe a prequel?

I've played the first on emulator. I can see why it might have been all that back in the day, but it has not aged well. That said, I did quite enjoy the picture-based battling - it looked quite nice.

I was bad yesterday and bought both Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassin's Creed 2.
Left 4 Dead 2 is great for Multiplayer, Valve did change it enough to make it a great game on it's own away from the first one. (Those that where whinnying and saying they where going to boycott L4D2 where just childish, and most came off of that bandwagon).
Assassin's Creed 2 is better then the first game by far, it a bit more open in what to do and the way you get and do missions is nice, stories good, and water isn't instant death.
Those two plus I still have ODST and playing WoW. My gaming time is full.

The first one is pretty meh, but the second one is really where the series gets started; it's awesome. Third one sucked, and the forth one is by far the best, and the one that aged the best, in my opinion.

I got DJ Hero (PS3) and on these forums I will now be affectionately referred to as "PJ Dizzy C".

Peace out.
