Ha, that is sooo easy:

Toasted everything bagel with smoked salmon, whipped cream cheese, very thinly sliced red onion, tomato, capers, lemon juice and fresh black pepper. With a french press full of coffee and some raspberries with greek yogurt and honey on the side.

This thread calls for some epic meal time. I'll have to remember that when I get home.

Bran flakes with skimmed milk, orange juice, and tea

That is what I have every day.

"What I would like" would certainly kill me. :(

I love toast with various toppings such as the following:

tomato-avo-goats-cheese-rye-bread-wm-400-pck.jpg

That's avocado, tomato and fetta. I can switch that up with goats cheese.

I eat 2 slides of bread, 2 boiled egg, and a glass of milk..
This will give me energy to work for all the day...
I stay active all the day and i think that breakfast is essential for healthy body

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I'm on a smoothie kick right now.

I use either homemade kefir or filmjolk (pourable Swedish yogurt), along with whatever frozen fruit I have around - peaches, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, you name it. The kefir or filmjolk are both pretty thick and a bit tart so I often also use some raw honey to sweeten it up a bit.

Down the hatch! I promise you will feel great all day long if you start your day with this!

As for breakfast foods, I like ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches, sometimes with bacon instead of ham. I like a few different kinds of cereals. Orange juice is my favorite drink.
But of course just because they are called "breakfast" foods doesn't mean I necessarily eat them or like them exclusively for breakfast.

My favorite breakfast rotates depending on whether I am in a "sweet" or "salty" mood.

Salty: Crispy hashbrowns with cheddar cheese, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers, topped with two eggs over easy, and if I'm feeling particularly gluttonous, sausage gravy over all. Whole wheat toast on the side, with strawberry jam, or to dip in the eggs.

Sweet: Stuffed french toast, with cream cheese filling, with raspberries or strawberries, and whip cream on top. Although, I usually still like a small side of hashbrowns to cut the sugar.

Great. Now I'm drooling.

What I normally eat is plain yogurt, with either jam or syrup to sweeten it, and some cereal mixed in, usually Cheerios, or if I'm lucky, some sort of granola. Just didn't want to give you all the impression that I was consistently eating gravy drenched cheesy potatoes, and am now 500 lbs. :D

LOL that's funny! Hey, have you tried your yogurt with maple syrup swirled in?

Today I had a fantastic breakfast! A whole wheat english muffin, toasted, with piece of swiss cheese melted on it, then topped with avocado and tomato, and a poached egg, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with coarse ground pepper and sea salt.

WHOOP WHOOP!

I have and it's to die for. I have a friend who makes her own maple syrup, but she guards it jealously.

I've recently been using my generic brand "butter flavored syrup" aka corn syrup but it is a poor substitute.

That sounds amazing. I want it for dinner. But I need to go home to get the venison stew going.

Wow, I'm impressed with venison soup!

It's just like regular old stew and tastes like the beef kind when it's all said and done. I do like a freezer stocked with venison though; there is a satisfaction in the self-sufficiency.

I almost forgot another great breakfast food that I don't think has been mentioned before.

Good ole fashioned peanut butter and jelly. I never considered it as a breakfast food until one day I realized that it would just be much more efficient if I put my two pieces of toast-- one of jam and one of peanut butter-- together. It was a revelation for me. :D Great for those days when you're eating breakfast on the go.

Sliced tomatoes with mozzarella and olive oil on the top, when you can deep your bread in the tomato juice and oil afterwards... mmmmmmm divine.

Yogurt and honey with fruites and granola.

Shakshuka.

Bacon and cheese fried and wrapped in pancake.

Bacon and eggs. Or just a full English breakfast.

Israeli breakfast. If you ever visited Israel, you'll know what I'm talking about.

All of the above are best served with fresh orange juice and a nice cup of strong coffee.

Germans really know how to put on a breakfast spread!

Overall, I'd have to say they win, but that's just my own opinion. I mean, they really do have something for everyone - and of course, being Germans, they make sure it's all top notch, very fresh, organic, etc.

Americans do it up right as well, but it's generally not nearly as "health conscious!"

A full English breakfast looks like a cross between the two:
