Mechanics of Material I....
Oooooh....rheology & fracture mechanics I presume!
Ah, the wonderful memories I have of that....useful stuff.

Calculus sucks :) Did 3 semesters of it and havn't used it since.
Perhaps not yet, but as an engineer I had some structural problems where I needed it (nothing comparable in Roark's Handbook).
Enjoy it while you can!

My first semester of my Master's in Education program at University of La Verne

Health, Drugs and Sex
University Chorale

Joke: my two classes put together are known as Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll.

I have completed a Bachelor of Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology, and am finishing up my Masters in Counselling Psychology. Thankfully, I have finished all the coursework and I am enjoying my placement very much.

It's all downhill from here. With any luck, I'll finish in two more semesters.

This semester is ...
Political Parties/Interest Groups
International Organizations
International Political Economies
Introduction to Religion

Which will be followed by any elective of my choice and my Senior Seminar (which scares the hell out of me) for my last semester.

I am laughing over my "Government by the People" book. It is aimed at people within my age group, with the assumption (probably correct) that we are for the most part very uninformed about politics and government. Search and seizure, and privacy during the War on Terrorism are even sections in this book. I haven't read it to know if it has any bias or not, but it also mentions debating these issues to get a better understanding of the subject. I already have a feeling I am going to be quoting Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson extensively in this class. It may be 101, but I am still going to bring the big guns to the political debates as I am gaining a reputation for being very well informed about government and politics. And even though most what I have talked about is typical Democrat talking points and things that may be in the future (such as health care, tax increases for the rich, and ending America's "No Vacation Nation" reputation), because I do not mention ties to any party and criticize both parties, even avid Republicans and Tea Partiers have agreed with me.

Almost done. I've finished a course on European Politics, and just started my final class. It's a senior research project, and my chosen topic will examine the relationship between religious identification and political identification and positions on key issues.

I'm still working on choosing which variables I need to accurately define both concepts, but this should prove to be interesting.

With any luck I'll knock this one out of the park and graduate in late December. Hard to believe I've been doing this for almost six years.

I was taking an online learning class, that taught about different things on the internet and about taking an online class. It was only eight weeks long, and I took to try out the online class thing, which I didn't like that much.
I'm also taking Earth Science, of which just about all of it I got off the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, and other similar channels.
Sociology, which I've seen just about all if it in my previous psychology classes. The teacher is a real push over though and the only way to get less than an A is to just not do anything.
Some algebra class. Someone asked the teacher why they needed to take it, and she said it's just so you know how to do it. So I'll know how to do it know, and forget it all once I'm done with all my math credits.
And an anthropology class. The text book has very few charts, pictures, or any other filler material, reading the stories of how different cultures function is fascinating, but most of what is tested over is stuff I have seen in my previous psych classes, and alot it overlaps with my sociology class. My teacher is really cute though:flirt:

Next semester is college algebra, social psychology, abnormal psychology, and human biology. After that semester I will have raised my GPA high enough to join the honor society (it was only 1.22 when I reenrolled, it will be 3.43 after this semester), and I will have history 111 and 112 (American history from the Civil War on up and world history I think), Algebra 136 which I think is supposed to deal alot with business applications, and a liberal arts capstone course and I will be done, have an associates of science in liberal arts, and I will be moving on to work towards a bachelors, then masters, and then doctorates. But I almost have one step completed.
