What Do You Think About Heterosexuality?

I always find, on any forum, be it religious or otherwise, that someone always ends up making a thread asking for everyone else's opinions on Homosexuality or other things that I think really, I should have an opinion on or that really my opinion shouldn't matter or make a differnce, like inter-racial dating.

The point of this thread was to say that, why is it that people always ask others for their opinions on Homosexuality or interracial dating, etc. etc., but never about heterosexuality or (same?) racial dating? If I'm expected to have an opinion on one part of the spectrum (homosexuality), then I should also have one, or be expected to have one, on the other side (heterosexuality), should I not?

Therefore, everyone, if you have any opinions, either way, on homosexuality, what are your opinions on heterosexuality.

And for those here who are homosexual, I definitely want to hear your opinions on heterosexuality :)D), as well as how you feel when people constantly ask other for their opinions regarding your sexuality.

I think this sums them up! XD

1. What do you think caused your heterosexuality?

2. When and how did you decide that you were a heterosexual?

3. Is it possible that your heterosexuality is just a phase that you may grow out of?

4. Is it possible your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?

5. If you've never slept with a person of the same sex, is it possible that all you need is a good gay or lesbian lover?

6. To whom have you disclosed your heterosexual tendencies? How did they react?

7. Why do you heterosexuals feel compelled to seduce others into your lifestyle?

8. Why do you insist on flaunting your heterosexuality? Why can't you just be what you are and keep quiet about it?

9. Would you want your children to be heterosexual knowing the problems that they'd face?

10. A disproportionate majority of child molesters are heterosexual. Do you consider it safe to expose your children to heterosexual teachers?

11. With all the societal support marriage receives, the divorce rate is spiraling. Why are there so few stable relationships among heterosexuals?

12. Why do heterosexuals place so much emphasis on sex?

13. Considering the menace of overpopulation, how could the human race survive if everyone were heterosexual like you?

14. Could you trust a heterosexual therapist to be objective? Don't you fear (s)he might be inclined to influence you in the direction of her/his own leanings?

15. How can you become a whole person if you limit yourself to compulsive, exclusive heterosexuality, and fail to develop your natural, healthy homosexual potential?

16. There seem to be very few happy heterosexuals. Techniques have been developed that might enable you to change if you really want to. Have you considered trying aversion therapy?

Herosexuality is 'my thing' - to me it feels right. I don't think I have ever been tempted to excplore my sexuality beyond the remits of that definition, except when I have felt the need to question my owwn 'mental' sexuality - if that makes sense to anyone. If it does, please explain it to me.:D

I think you are perfectly right C1 in starting this thread; if we question others, and give our opinions on them the whole time, thay should have the right to do the same as 'we do unto them' - though it had never occurred to me. Fruballworthy.:)

I wonder who you could be referring to here? :D

If you want to do something with someone and you have their consent, then do it.

I admit, that a couple of your threads played a part, but I gaurentee is wasn't even close to being all because of you. It's not only on this forum, but on others I frequent, as well as constantly posted in bulletins on Myspace, where ever it is, I just seem to always find myself being asked for my opinion on homosexuality

Thank you kindly Michel!

For some reason, C1, your thread title made me think of Jack on "Will and Grace" whenever someone makes some comment about heterosexuals. His response is always followed by a gagging sound at the thought of something so "abnormal" as men and women together.

Heterosexuals are an ecological menace. I lay the overpopulation problem solely at their feet.

Yes, and we are, on the whole, most intollerant of other people's sexual orientation.......:(

A fool
I find homosexuality very limiting and find it difficult to understand why somebody would want to eradicate so many potential paths to happiness because of a silly thing like gender.

Also I wish to complain how bisexuals are mostly overlooked in these types of threads. We get threads asking for opinions on homosexuality and retaliatory threads asking for opinions on heterosexuality. Us bisexuals want to be the target of intolerance too!! ;).

Heheee! I love the "whoo-hoo" icon as a vision of Melody doing some serious ducking and running!

In my opinion, more books should be written on why hetero's should be kept out of the main stream population. They (possibly we, I'm currently questioning myself) are most decidedly a threat to the sensibilities of any sane society. :149:

It makes me cross my legs uncomfortably at the idea of me ever participating in such an act, but if it makes you happy, go for it. :D

I'm neutral towards homosexuality. It's not a good thing, but it's not a bad thing, same as heterosexuality.

heterosexuality is vital to the continual growth of the human race, and all other creatures on this planet. Its much more... practical, than homosexuality

The parts of the planet is overpopulated as it is, how much more growth do you want?

Aren't Jedi supposed to be rather renowned for not practicing either sexuality? If not, then I've got to go tackle Obi-Wan. ("Vows to remain celibate" my fanny. Come back here, you!) Besides, the last major attempt at Jedi heterosexuality resulted in the killing of all three of them. (And that's only if you still count Vader as a Jedi, hehee.)

Homosexuality! Far more practical and does not involve the killing of Jedi! :149: (I wonder if I can get that on a banner...)
