I believe sometimes people are just in the wrong place at the wrong time. The trouble is that people tend to bond themselves to a place long after the place is no longer viable.

Up next - celebration of birthdays is a celebration of inequality in life spans. How dare we celebrate birthdays when some humans live longer than other humans! Outrageous! No one should ever celebrate any birthdays because this is expressing gratitude for unequal outcomes in life spans!

Famines nowadays are generally caused by humans, such as war and social collapse (like what's going on in Gaza). There's no legit reason for anyone to starve in this world, when we have such enough food to feed the world many times over, seeing as we waste tons of food each day.
