What do you think of the Moon hoaxers

well...in seven years, from the beginning of Youtube, the number of videos about the Moon hoax have been increasing impressively....maybe because the Chinese are planning new missions, so the conspiracy topic is inevitably brought up, either directly or indirectly.

Personally I am not bothered by these Moon hoaxers. I watch their videos with discrete interest. But their thesis, in my opinion are quite weak and the evidence they provide, are irrelevant.

I think, we have strong evidence that the Americans landed on the Moon several times in less than three years. and before daring the Moon Landing, they had prepared several missions (the Apollo 10 was the last, where they floated over the Moon but did not land)

what do you think of these moon hoaxers?

I don't give'm much thought. There's no convincing people otherwise when they lack a basic scientific education.....or are crazy.

It must really confuse them to think that there are folks walking around all over the Earth. Must be pretty mind blowing, that.

maybe if the US hadn't spent so much money on something so useless, there wouldn't have been a negative reaction like the denial.

besides, some people are dead in accidents...and it's a miracle that all astronauts could go back to Earth sound and safe

Pretty much the same as most people view them, I'd think. I don't believe their claims and theories have much (if any) basis in fact, but their views aren't potentially harmful at present (at least not in the grand scheme of things). Their beliefs have absolutely no relevance in my life (I'd even be willing to say they have no relevance in anyone's life besides their own, but I won't make assumptions), so what does it matter to me if they deny that we landed on the moon? Until they decide to try and usurp the government or something equally absurd, I couldn't care less about them.

Though I will say that of all the things people could craft conspiracy theories around, the moon landing seems to be the most bizarre choice, since I really can't see why any government would wish to lie about something like that. I mean, at least 9/11 conspiracy theorists believe to be exposing something that (if it were true) would be evidence of a massive betrayal of the people's trust by their government. But the moon landing? While momentous at the time, I don't really see the importance of disproving that, especially since we now have the technology to do that and more...

Moon-hoaxers are the bane of my existence. My favorite video has to be where Buzz Aldrin just decks one of those morons.

that's the worst, because moon-hoaxers could think that he reacted that way because he had something to hide

I can understand him though....he reacted that way because being a survivor of such a risky experience and then being called a liar is something that would make anyone freak out

I have to agree. It is a good thing to have education ready, but as the old saying goes: "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink".

Well we did get teflon frying pans and pens that write upside down, so it wasn't a complete waste of time. ;)
