Religions are for people content with basing their worldview on something that has the same evidence of black cats bringing bad luck.
I would suggest you make your homework
I could suggest you do some homework too. This Buddhist is not of the opinion that black cats bring bad luck. I had one once and he never so much as brought me a dead mouse.

My black cat brought me a living mouse.

I had a pet mouse that escaped from its cage. Cat came over and kept headbutting me, so I stuck out my hand to pet her. Instead, she dropped the mouse, completely unharmed, into my hand and stormed off, as if saying "put your toys away!"

That is like a real Tom and Jerry episode!

The system has ownership of the scientific method?

What system, what ownership?
The system that I'm talking about is the one which directs the narrative about the security of the public. The ownership of the scientific method is through funding research into areas which support that narrative. For example, the narrative of catastrophic anthropogenic global warming.

History is difficult to test, unless done so in conjunction with the scientific method, as with archaeology. For example. Written history is especially unreliable. Anecdotal evidence is next to worthless, compared to empirically derived information.
Empiricism, as information about sensory perception, is the basis of anecdote.

Funding is irrelevant.
Funding is relevant because of the archetype of the whore. The archetype is relevant because of the union of the church and state.

If a scientific body of theory is independently verifiable, by anyone. Then there is no narrative. Just whining from conspiracy theorists.
How many people do you know who can independently verify the theory of catastrophic anthropogenic global warming?

Empirical information is obtained from scientific method of investigation.
Not necessarily.

I run into people everyday who claim a faith or religion but then don’t live according to said faith or religion. It’s not that they’re intentionally being malicious I simply feel like most people don’t really know what they believe or why.

Hi, Salām

Victor Frankl invented logotherapy and he/it says on wiki, there are three reasons to will.

Logotherapy was developed by neurologist and psychiatristViktor Frankl[1] and is based on the premise that the primary motivational force of an individual is to find a meaning in life.[2]Frankl describes it as "the Third Viennese School of Psychotherapy"[3][4] along with Freud's psychoanalysis and Adler's individual psychology.[5]

Logotherapy is based on an existential analysis[6] focusing on Kierkegaard's will to meaning as opposed to Alfred Adler's Nietzschean doctrine of will to power or Freud's will to pleasure. Rather than power or pleasure, logotherapy is founded upon the belief that striving to find meaning in life is the primary, most powerful motivating and driving force in humans.[2] A short introduction to this system is given in Frankl's most famous book, Man's Search for Meaning (1946), in which he outlines how his theories helped him to survive his Holocaustexperience and how that experience further developed and reinforced his theories. Presently, there are a number of logotherapy institutes around the world.

My Belief is Allah and Judgment Day where people will be Judged. Between this moment and Judgment day (where we will re-set as Humanity, maybe upto God) I try to do good things and say equally good things.

Prophet Mohammed said in Hadith: "Faith is not [acquired] through embellishment or wishing; rather faith is that which is pure in the heart and is certified by actions."

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

I abandoned belief for something a bit more reliable.

Educated guesses.
