What does the Democratic Party have in common with Cancer?

Allow me to modify.

What an extraordinarily stupid and naive analogy.

Why don't you just give me the rasberry as well? Critics rarely can do any better themselves. Care to try? Or is everything in your life as simple as GWB=bad, Dem's=good?

The word hypocrit comes to mind, your view seems to be GWB=Good, Dem's=Bad.

wow

this guy is a riot...im not about to sit here and defend the DEMS by any means...socialism is my way, but he is calling people simple minded and biased against GWB when he is doing the exact same thing against the dems....is it just me or does that not make any sense (typical though)

the economy sucks...well, unless you are in the growing upper class, your own personal economy is just fine if you make over 150k per year.

the war is, was, and always will be a failure and a mistake...it is creating terrorist by the hundreds in places where terrorrists didnt exist and ruining the good name amerika had left.

Intelligence is the exact opposite.

Morals shouldnt even be considered in the party system...its not the governments job to decide morality.

and the Dems are the same party as the Reps....honestly there is nothing truly different about them now...listen to the figureheads campaigning now...all the same blabbering baby step philosophies and no one fighting for REAL change (other than Ron Paul of course...Republican believe it or not)

anyway Rick, get your head out of that dark smelly place, stop watching Faux news (and cnn for that matter), and step into reality

I for one love the skyrocketing deficit and the weakening of the dollar.
And it's good that 1% of the population should control a third of all the assets, resources, and opportunities. I've always wanted an 'overclass' in America, and for my own wages to remain stagnant for 30 years while this new "uberclass" just gets richer and richer. After all, Oprah is many thousands of times more valuable to society than you or I.

Your grasp of reality is tenuous, Rick. Which party won control of the House in the last election?

The Democratic party has lost more members by catering to the far left than it ever has gained. This is so stupid. Do you think the far left is going to start voting Republican if Democrats moved a little more to the center?
The most bizarre thing about this diatribe is that I don't even think the Dems cater to Left. I'm like how much further can the Dems move to the "center" before they are officially on the "Right"?

What is typical is that you can't defend the undefendable.

The economy is as good as it is going to get. When has it ever been better? If you can't make it in this economy, guess what? Your likely to never make it.
Morals shouldnt even be considered in the party system...its not the governments job to decide morality.
Agreed. You cannot legislate morality.

From the number of increased troops in Iraq, one would think that Nancy Pelosi was on our side. :sorry1:

Who is really grasping for reality Lilithu? All the Democrats are feeding you is lip service.

Yeah.

I didn't assert anything about any political party. Only the analogy.

Hardly indicative of how the public feels about Democrat's policies. The platforms for democrats then and now can be summarized as "Hey, we aren't those guys". The some is true for the Republican candidates. If you did not vote for the iraq war, you scream it until your lungs give out.

There is no difference between the parties save for the rhetoric they spew.

I would give you frubals for that if I hadn't already done so recently.

The American political system - You can either vote for the upper-class who state flat out they don't care about the working class or the upper-class that pretend they care about the working class.

The Democrats are not anti-war. They're just as imperialist as the Republicans. They're speaking out against Iraq for cheap political points. Their rivals made a mistake and now they're pouncing on it to get some more votes.

Can you name one thing George Bush has done right? Your hate for Bush has blinded your perspective on just how well this economy is doing.
I bet you would say the SAME thing to John the Baptist as he preached against Herod.

I have yet to see Shrub do anything right.

So what is it that you like about Shrub? He's a liar, he a draft dodger, he's a war monger, he hates gays, he hates democrats (as do you).

I love it.

The hypocrisy is too much. If it wasn't so pathetic it would be really funny.

I love how people discuss politics as politicians do. By calling each other douchebags and screaming of the other side's hypocrisy.

It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic

I'm not supporting the Dems here. I'm just reacting to the "Dems=root of all evil" diatribe that Rick is spewing.

Politicians=root of all evil, so Rick is correct, though a bit too inclusive. Most of the lawyer jokes work well for politicians. How can you tell if a <insert political party whose rhetoric you dislike or are told to dislike by another political party> is lying? His/Her/Its lips are moving.

Edit: You are making Rick's views seem more extreme than they really are.
