And this one is not implied - its overt!
Can you tell right from wrong?
This is a good example.

I am happy to emulate him in this regard.

Take a good look at the way the word is used in these publications and you form a different conclusion:
(W = WATCHTOWER)
"In this regard you fathers find a wonderful example in the great Father of the universe, Jehovah God, whom you do well to
emulate. He constantly provides not only for the material and spiritual needs, but also counsel and encouragement for everyone in his household. He abhors rebellion and administers punishment to lawbreakers without partiality.Prov. 6:16-19; Deut. 10:17, 18. ( w71 10/1 p. 583)
Jehovah has shown himself to be compassionate in all his dealings with his creatures, and he calls upon them to
emulate his perfect example. (w65 2/15 p. 128)
We may not be as eloquent as he was, but we can certainly strive to
emulate his knowledge and ability in the use of the Scriptures, thus helping sincere seekers of truth. By his example of zealous activity, Apollos greatly helped those who had believed. (Acts 18:27) (w96 10/1 pp. 22-23)
"How thankful eldersand all of usshould be that we have Pauls example to
emulate! Yes, let us show appreciation for one another. (w8/1 p. 18)
A wrong motive, such as an inordinate desire to
emulate you or any other human, will give him neither the strength to resist unchristian influences nor the courage to do what is right. (w00 6/1 p. 17)
Yet, it can help us to see examples that we can
emulate and areas where we need to improve. (w05 2/15 p. 31)
Why are Noah, Moses, Paul and Jesus Christ good examples for us to
emulate? (w62 3/15)
Surely this mildness and reasonableness of the Christ was something for the happy followers and apostles of Jesus to write to others about, and, in their own personal lives, to copy and
emulate. (2 Cor. 10:1) (w60 2/1 p. 70)
Is the word being used incorrectly here?
Do you actually believe that these publications are calling upon Christians to strive for EQUALITY with God and fellow humans?
So....
In saying that I claimed to be equal to God......
YOU LIE!
