Because it says so in the Bible.
LOL just kiddin', ignore me ^_^
Present the evidence and let's examine it....
Oh come now....you can do better than that! We are all 'craeezzee'. I mean it must be very simple to prove that right. Give it a go why dont you.
I'm not sure "deluded" is the right choice of words here, deluded----impose a misleading belief upon someone. Do you think the Christian belief is misleading? I know the point you are trying to make, but maybe a better choice of words would get to your point.
I would like to turn the question the other way around. What is the proof that any other religions is mass deluded and Christianity is the right one?
The problem with asking such a question is that it seems to assume Christianity is a truth in need of being disproved. Christianity is not a universal truth, and there is no proof against Christianity (except in its most fundamental form, when the words of the Bible is taken literally). There does however not seem to exist any need for a creator, and, from the perspective of an atheist, the concept of a deity is illogical.
My point was that the question is unfair. There is no evidence in one way or the other, only, in lack of better words, hints.Shall we not turn the question around. The question is...what evidence is there (not that god exists or does not exist) that christians as a mass group are all delusional or crazy, which explains why they believe in a GOD.

If you wonder what "hints" I have seen that makes me not believe in Christianity, it is just that everything I have seen from science makes me feel there is no need for a creator or deity. We may not know all, and there is a LOT we cannot explain, but absence of understanding is not a proof in one way or another, it is just absence of understanding. That is my subjective assessment. Look around and you will find other assessments. This is a highly subjective issue, which is one of the problems with the question. My point was that the question is unfair. There is no evidence in one way or the other, only, in lack of better words, hints.
Who said anyone thinks that :areyoucra? The question is not unfair Kerr. I'm not trying to ask people to prove there is no god or that there is, im asking for evidence that christians are crazy or delusional. I mean....surely there are scientific ways to prove this right?
Are our brains not wired properly....ya know....or what?
All of us are subject to delusional thoughts just as all of us are subject to diseases. I could present an argument that available evidence supports this assertion but that's probably diverting the topic too far.
Heneni, why don't you ask what evidence there is that all Christians are deluded about a particular thing?
I think the majority of theist, regardless of their religion, are either ignorant, mistaken, or simply stubborn. Deluded only refers to the minority of theists and humans in general.
Well of course chrisitans are brainwashed...
just like everybody else.
I recently learned that it is common amongst Christians to think that only their religion teaches unselfish love. LOL! Ok...
You got it backwards, Christians are not delusional or crazy and therefore believe in God. Christians believe in God and are therefore disillusioned, that's what makes them delusional or crazy.Shall we not turn the question around. The question is...what evidence is there (not that god exists or does not exist) that christians as a mass group are all delusional or crazy, which explains why they believe in a GOD.
