I think that most people have a vision of Satan as one who goes around with a red hot pitchfork jabbing it into pregnant women. If only Satan could be that good. This is the picture that Satan wishes to present. It is not the true picture. Many, I would imagine, have a picture of Satan in their minds as one with a horrible red face with horns coming out of his head, holding this red hot glowing pitchfork, with a sardonic grin, and flames coming up all around, standing there waiting for some poor sinner to show up so he can torture them forever. Yes, only if he could be so good. The real face that Satan wears is the one of Jesus! Remember that deception is what Satan is all about. If Satan can convince you that he is Jesus, then you are going to believe what he teaches. We all have a picture of Jesus in our minds: what he looks like, what he believes, what he teaches, what he wants you to believe, what he wants you to do, etc., etc. The problem is that if someone comes along that does not "fit the picture" then we do not believe it is Jesus. This is what happened to Jesus when he came the last time, he just did not "fit the picture" so they nailed him to a cross and murdered him. Now if you are deceived by Satan, and you believe all the lies, then when Satan comes along looking like Jesus, you will be following that guy off to "Deception Land." The deceivers don't come along saying they are Satan, no no, they say they are Jesus. "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." Saint Matthew 24:5
