No, it's not a "good tiding" for us since Christianity falls apart if Christ did not die on the Cross. Our Salvation has not been won, then.
Then no harm to know for one that the salvation of Christianity people is already lost since inception or when Paul founded the Christianity. Please

He continued to travel around the region of Galilee and surrounding lands preaching God's Message until death overcame him in the natural way of things (he did not die on the cross). He was then born again into this world, where the Devil and their servants entrapped him, so that he forgot his true identity and became lost in the world over successive reincarnations. But he will return (with the knowledge of who he truly is, and his Mission).
Whoa! That's a new one! Care to expand on that? I'm honestly interested. Where are you getting this from?[/QUOTE]
Please expand the information and the sources etc as requested by Saint Frankenstein.

Is this from 1001 Arabian Nights?

Yes in which way it's important?

Salaam,

As Allaah says in His Holy Qur'aan (and as you have already highlighted), it is important to know that the people did not kill him. Extending this argument further, (what we believe to be) the myth of his crucifixion (whether on a cross or a stake) is central to much if not all of Christianity. Showing that he did not die on the cross thus arguably undermines, or at least significantly weakens a central premise of what we consider to be a false religion (in its present form). This seems a pretty important thing to me.

Wassalaam

The "Way" means nothing? "Gee, I'm sorry, Jesus, I can't simply be kind to my neighbors or whatever, because you didn't really die like the authors said you did even though they weren't there either...."

As Allaah says in His Holy Qur'aan (and as you have already highlighted), it is important to know that the people did not kill him.
Whether he survived or not is irrelevant to the Way.

Who ..... Jesus is simply a composite of many different dying and resurrecting god men of the age..... Mithras... Dionysus...
Do you mean there is or had been no human being with the name Jesus?
If there was no human being with this name, then you are simply wrong.
Please give antecedents of such person (Jesus) that you had in your mind when you said that he did not exist.
Should I provide a list of such famous person who exist or existed with the name Jesus? Just to help you, please

And to India he went !.
And lived there for 120 years unaware as to what the wolf did to the sheep left behind in Judea.
Until YHVH asked him :

The Holy Quran : Chapter 5: Al-Ma'idah المَائدة
[5:117] And when Allah will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary, didst thou say to men, ‘Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah?’”, he will answer, “Holy art Thou. I could never say that to which I had no right. If I had said it, Thou wouldst have surely known it. Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Thy mind. It is only Thou Who art the Knower of hidden things.
[5:118] “I said nothing to them except that which Thou didst command me — ‘Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.’ And I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them, but since Thou didst cause me to die, Thou hast been the Watcher over them; and Thou art Witness over all things.
[5:119] “If Thou punish them, they are Thy servants; and if Thou forgive them, Thou surely art the Mighty, the Wise.”

And Jesus had to cut a sorry figure before YHVH. Right?

And Jesus' spirit became much disturbed for his sheep and cried in agony before YHVH !?

The canonical bible is missing information about the man called Jesus. There's the story of his birth, a snippit about an incident with his mother when he was a boy, and then *POOF* he disappears from biblical text we're given, but when he came back on the scene he was a miracle-working healer and an extraordinary teacher on the topic of the kingdom of God.

What happened to Jesus?

Something else to ponder are the stories about his crucifixion. Mainstream teaching insists that he died on a cross, was buried and resurrected on the third day (Sunday, it is believed), but according to scripture, that's not true.

So what happened to Jesus?

Jesus did not die on a cross. His disciples ate him. That's where the Catholic and Christian practice of taking communion, eucharist, sacrament (whatever the label) comes from. Some of you may be familiar with this take on his true death, so this is not necessarily about that unless you want to discuss that. This is more a question of what happened to Jesus while he was alive.
That's easy. The authors that invented him had to meet their publishing deadline.
