What I like about RF

I like Deidre!

I also like how much I have learned from correction. It doesn't seem like I learn much, but actually a lot has sunk in, just sometimes the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

I'm the first to apologize when I'm proven wrong, but still see no need to apologize for pointing out Fascism, tyranny, dark-aged Theocracy, and hatred in it's ugliest forms, even when the people I admire here indicate that I'm doing something wrong! That is just an issue I can't compromise on.

I like to see a MOD of GOD like @Quagmire who forgives people 70X7 and beyond. He's just the epitome of Jesus Christ.

So I'm not the only one who thinks so!

Though I think if you crowned him with thorns and crucified him, he would say something from the cross other than "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do".

RF is one of the few forums out there where people actually like using their intellect and staying on topic. There are forums that all seem to have topics that derail into meme wars and sexual innuendo. (well, there is @Wirey ) lol

That’s what I like about RF and why I always come back. It’s not perfect, but it’s a site that doesn’t let one clique rule over it and ruin thread after thread with its attention seeking bs.

What do you like about RF?

I like it because it allows freedom of speech (within reason). I've been censored a lot on other religious sites for no reason other than that the mods didn't like my opinions, but here everyone is free to their opinions as long as they don't insult others directly, which is really nice.

What really keeps me here is the diversity of people and opinions. AND the wild subjects that pop up and huge number of replies a thread can generate. This is one freakin'.. a..c..t..i..v..e.. discussion forum. A person might open a thread, leave it for eight hours, and come back to forty replies. And there's a lot of on-the-spot interaction. More often than not you don't have to wait hours for a response. On the other hand, we do have that revolting Michigan Bacon Man to contend with.

It was well within my capacity as picnic basket inspector.... it was a chicken leg...it came from a picnic basket and it required inspecting....one must enforce the rule you know.....it is all for the good of the folks here at RF...besides.....admit it....you'd maul @Revoltingest too if you had half the chance and more so if you were a 1500 pound killing machine with 6 inch claws and big sharp pointy teeth.....
